Punishment for homosexuality in Islam The Companions unanimously agreed on the execution of homosexuals , but they differed as to how they were to be executed. Some of them were of the view that they should be burned with fire, which was the view of ‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and also of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), as we shall see below. And some of them thought that they should be thrown down from a high place then have stones thrown at them. This was the view of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him). Some of them thought that they should be stoned to death, which was narrated from both ‘Ali and Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them). After the Companions, the jurists differed concerning the matter. Some of them said that the homosexual should be executed no matter what his situation, whether he is married or not. Some of them said that he should be punished in the same way as an adulterer, so he should be stoned if he is married and flogged if he is not married. Some of them said that a severe punishment should be carried out on him, as the judge sees fit. Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah be pleased with him) discussed this issue at length, and he mentioned the evidence and arguments of the jurists, but he supported the first view. This is explained in his book al-Jawab al-Kafi li man sa-ala ‘an al-Dawa’ al-Shafi, which he wrote to deal with this immoral action. We will quote some of what he said: “Because the evil consequences of homosexuality are among the worst of evil consequences, so its punishment is one of the most severe of punishments in this world and in the Hereafter. The scholars differed as to whether it is to be punished more severely than zina, or whether the punishment for zina should be more severe, or whether the punishments should be the same. There are three points of view: Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib, Khalid ibn al-Walid, ‘Abd-Allah ibn al-Zubayr, ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Abbas, Malik, Ishaq ibn Rahawayh, Imam Ahmad according to the more sound of the two reports from him and al-Shafi’i according to one of his opinions, were of the view that the punishment for homosexuality should be more severe than the punishment for zina, and the punishment is execution in all cases, whether the person is married or not. Al-Shafi`i, according to the well-known view of his madhhab, and Imam Ahmad according to the other report narrated from him, were of the view that the punishment, etc.

As a South African I will tell you that called the ANC a terrorist organization and the freedom fighters terrorists. They called the apartheid a victim. Israelis are european colonialist settlers that were settled by British imperialist and given 60% of Palestinian and Palestinians left with 40% land surrounded by Israel. As they dominated the UN they decided to declare the part they gave to Israel a state and admit it into the UN. They did not declare the part they left to Palestine a state and refuse to admit it into the UN. That was done purposely so Israel can take the land by piecemeal from.palestine and char away all Palestinians. They Carrie out many rounds of genocide since 1948 that resulted in more than 2 million Palestinian running into exile I Jordan, Lebanon and many outsude the middle East. If it was not for resistance fro. Groups like HAMAS they would have long wiped out all the Palestinians. It was part if the plan from the beginning; and UK, America have been part of the plan from the beginning; they have been refusing to recognise Palestine ad a state and America has been using the veto for a lo v time to deny Palestine statehood and to ensure the peace meal genocide if Palestinians cotinge. Freedom fighters are always branded terrorist by white colonialist; unless you are white you should know this. Hamas needs all the support the6 need from justice and freedom loving people.

*What is Islam?* Islam is the name of the religion, or more properly the ‘way of life’, which God (Allah) has revealed and which was practiced by all of the Prophets and Messengers of God that He sent to mankind. Islam specifically means being in the state of submission to God, worshipping Him Alone, and reverently accepting and obeying His Law. *Who are Muslims?* The Arabic word “Muslim” literally means “someone who is in a state of Islam (submission to the will and law of God)”. The message of Islam is meant for the entire world, and anyone who accepts this message becomes a Muslim. *Who is Allah?* Often one hears the Arabic word “Allah” being used in discussions regarding Islam. The word “Allah” is simply the Arabic word for Almighty God, and is the same word used by Arabic speaking Christians and Jews. As a matter of fact, the word Allah was in use far before the word God ever came into existence, since English is a relatively new language. If one were to pick up an Arabic translation of the Bible, one would see the word “Allah” being use where the word “God” is used in English. For instance, Arabic speaking Christians say that Jesus is, according to their canon belief, the Son of Allah. In addition, the Arabic word for Almighty God, “Allah”, is quite similar to the word for God in other Semitic languages. *Who is Muhammad?* The last and final prophet whom God sent to humanity was the Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him. *What are the Teachings of Islam?* The foundation of the Islamic faith is belief in absolute Monotheism (the Oneness of God). This means to believe that there is only one Creator and Sustainer of everything in the Universe, and that nothing is divine or worthy of being worshipped except for Him. *What is the Quran?* The Quran is the final revelation of Allah to all of mankind, which was spoken by Allah the Exalted Himself and conveyed through the Arch-Angel Gabriel in Arabic to the Prophet Muhammad, in sound, word and meaning. *What does Islam say about Jesus?* The Islamic belief about Jesus demystifies for us who the real Jesus was. Jesus in Islam was an extraordinary individual, chosen by God as a Prophet and sent to the Jewish people. He never preached that he himself was God or the actual son of God. He was miraculously born without a father, and he performed many amazing miracles such as healing the blind and the lepers and raising the dead - all by God’s permission. Muslims believe that Jesus will return before the day of Judgement to bring justice and peace to the world. This Islamic belief about Jesus is similar to the belief of some of the early Christians.

@@Queenmomefua The final messenger (Prophet Muhammad S.A.W ) of Allah , (The Creator of the universe ) was sent to all of humanity. Prophet Jesus (Isa A.S) said himself he was only sent to the lost sheep of Israel. May Allah bless all of his prophets/messengers❤️

But they have leaders that are brutal to their citizen in their so-called Muslim country but are impotent to their money master who are waging war on the Muslim Ummah.

The Gambian president is irrelevant to all Africans. We know the hands that put him where he is. In as much as we don’t condone any form of attacks, racism, genocide and apartheid against humanity or group of people, countries etc. we want to make this clear to every African both in the continent and diaspora. We are first Africans!!!! Region is secondary matter for individuals choose. Only fools in Africa will die for religion that doesn’t respect us as human beings. This is totally different from not supporting the rights of others.
