This speech had me on he edge of tears. Why is it that we have to depend on our youth to uphold the values we older generations claim to have it is ironic that the University had to claim none support for that speech. And these young people are better educated, more aware of today's social issues, less influenced by our mainstream media that is controlled by a handful of selfish media magnates and are not corrupted by the self interest of our politicians that receive "donations" from AIPAC.

What a beautiful and timely speech and we appreciate that the University of Toledo allowed her to speak uninterrupted. The disclaimer at the end of the video by the man on behalf of the university might have been protocol, but it prompts one to ask the question: What are the views and values of the University of Toledo that are not representative of the wonderful views and values expressed by the speaker?

Had she given this speech in Lahore or Kabul, she would have met a different fate. Even Allah would not have been able to protect her. Be grateful to the country that provided shelter to you. Her parents chose the US for a reason. Gratitude is a virtue.
