The fact that when Chuck died, he literally had to be DRAGGED away by multiple people but when Newt died, he walked away a few seconds after. He literally could not handle Newt’s death at all like he did with Chuck. That just goes to show how much more painful Newt dying was to him

I'm surprised Gally lasted as long as he did, with an arrow straight to the heart, he would have been dead within a couple seconds.

The right arm probably came just as they left for Jansons place and patched Gally up like he said in the Death cure, but true idk how he survived even with that.

To those wondering why Gally survived, there’s a deleted scene in The Death Cure where Gally states he has only one good lung. Meaning the spear hit his lung and not his heart.

In the book WICKED was controlling Chuck and Gally. They had Gally throw a knife at Thomas and made Chuck move in front of him. This was to test how Thomas’ brain would react. Then Thomas beat up Gally and nearly killed him. I could be wrong though I haven’t read these books in years.

It just makes sense, they have to sacrifice themselves in order for there to be meaning behind what they're doing if not they're all going to die for nothing and I think that's what makes people jump out and sacrifice

In the books WCKD controlled Gally and also Chuck's action. In fact they made Chuck purposely cover Thomas from the gunshot only in orden to make the situation more difficult and stressful for Thomas himself --- because, in this way (harsh environments), antibodies against the virus strengthen.

You know what I just realized in the third movie they are trying to find a cure for the flare but in this movie they sent up three viles of it with Teresa

WARNING: Spoiler AHEAD IF YOU DONT WANT ANY SPOILERS FOR THE BOOKS, THEN DO NOT READ THE NEXT LINES The story line in the book is different, WICKED controls Gally and makes him try to kill Thomas. And in the book, gally has a knife, not a gun, he throws the gun to Thomas, but then WICKED controls chuck to jump in front of Thomas. Gally never gets hit by a spear. Thomas gets extremely mad, and jumps on top of gally, punching his face. Gally dosent die. Just gets a broken chin. And in ‘the death cure’ the final book, gally talks to Thomas, Minho and Brenda, Jorge, and Thomas, In his apartment, explaining that he would’ve never have thrown the knife if he knew that chuck was going to jump in front. He says “if I had any kind of guts, I could’ve stopped them from controlling me. But I let them do it because I thought I’d be killing Thomas(he hated Thomas) not chuck. Not in a million years would I have let myself murder that poor kid.”

Maze runner has to many deaths man, I can’t survive it, I get so attached to characters, they feel like friends, when I read it’s like I know their world, it’s what I love about reading, but it’s also what I hate about reading,after watching the movies and reading the books again I can see it with each of their faces and it makes it worse. But maze runner is freaking amazing and whoever tells me otherwise tempts the balance in the force.

I didn't want Chuck to die for Thomas he is still a great kid who gave his life to save his friend but it would've been so good that Chuck Winston and alby would've seen the right arm and that they would all be together and safe from wicked and ad for gally he's very lucky to be alive when the group of soldiers found him found out he was immune and that they patched him up and save him when he was stung from the changing when he tried to stop his friends from leaving but eventually he said to newt and Thomas that he knows what he did and that he feels guilty for what he did wrong he may not remember but he knows and most of all he sees chucks face every time he closes his eyes and that he's not asking for forgiveness all he wants is to put everything behind them go their separate ways and that they don't have to be friends but he's also lucky that they thought about selling him back to wicked but he's very lucky that Lawrence chose gally to stay very lucky guy gally is a very sweet guy

This scene made me cry. WHY CHUCK!?!?!?

i dont get how he even got into that room....the door sealed when the others went in with the grievers right behind.

If you look closely at when he first appears in this scene, you can see that he was holding the device that they pulled out of a griever, and used to find the griever hole. So it's most likely that not too long after they left, using that device, Gally decided to go with them, but when he got to the griever hole, he got stung

After watching ATT season 4 funny side character dying in singular shot towards a group seems to be a common trope and will never be a good one

In the book, Chuck didn't make that object for his parents. They added it to make these movies more emotional. It upsets me that Thomas'll never be able to give it to Chuck's parents.
