In this video I show my brother’s Galion 118B grader making short work of levelling off some dirt piles to form a new paddock track.

The old Gallion with knuckle buster blade controls nice, brings back memories when living in the Clare valley in the 70,s most councils had these or cat 12,s reckon the Spalding council had a couple of Avelling Barfords hope I spelled it right they were a strange looking grader only single rear axle was an interesting time much variation in machinery back then .Enjoyed this video Dave nice watching machines work Kym Adelaide

Thanks Kym. Yeah I reckon they were a reasonably common council machine through the 60s and 70s. It’s a bit worn out but still a great old machine

Watching from Arizona USA . I was born about a hour away from at the Galion factory in Galton Ohio USA. If that grader was built there ! 🌵

Looks like a Galion 118. His steering would have been a little better balanced if he leaned away from the pile.

You would have easier time of it if you leaned tops of steers to left. Nice machine. I have a 1958 #12 Caterpillar
