This device would do anything it should be able to do, at the level it is made for. And as I have harped on and on, that stylus is a huge factor why I consider Galaxy S tablets over the competitors. Would like to try other brands, but I have no budget for that yet. I'd personally like a slightly better chip set with a slightly worse IP rating, because I wouldn't just expose it to the rain. 12GB RAM is a bit much I think, but it's nice to have. The storage options are nice as they are. The screen size on the Plus is spot on.

Rain? Way more likely for someone's water bottle to leak in a backpack or something similar, thus warranting the solid IP rating.

Ivan, love your videos and opinion. I'm currently commenting on a fire HD 10 which I am fed up with. I was looking at buying an s6 lite, but with this s9 fe and the a9+ coming out soon I think 8GB is my baseline for RAM. With what is known about the 8GB a9+ (say it costs 300 usd) do you think this FE offers $200 more in value? I don't game so GPU is irrelevant. The Exynos doesn't seem that much faster than the Snapdragon in the A9. How would you value the S pen + dex + more longevity? I may just end up choosing based on which has a better black Friday price.

I've had the S9 FE+ for a week now. I love everything about it but I am disappointed that you can't extend your display to a monitor via Dex. Even my old S20 phone can do that😮

Most 45 watt chargers for Samsung devices require a 5A or 100 watt rated usb-c to usb-c cable. Standard cables only carry 3A current so they may limit the device to 25 watt charging.

IITian here I choosed S9 FE+ it really feels like a premium tablet,I too also disappointed by people opinions about this tablet but finally I bought this from flipkart at 38k. I mainly use for study n note taking purpose & it does the task really well.I disagree with the video saying display is not good but actually display is very good & also the performance is actually good. Even I can play PUBG pretty smoothly. If you are a MBBS student then definitely go for it because u will not get that experience with apple pencil what u will get in S pen

Yes it would be perfect! Another alternative is the S8 at a slightly higher price, but much more powerful and the S Pen can be used as a shutter or a remote during your presentation.

Amazing review...the only problem is that your hands made it look like too small...never have I ever saw someone being able to hold a 12inch device with one hand...😟

Though the pen does not have Bluetooth, does it feel comfortable to write? is there any palm rejection ? i am planning to buy this for extensive note taking. kindly let me know

Nobody has answered yet, so I will tell you what little I know. I have read that OLED panels can cause headaches in some ppl. It certainly looks nicer and can save on battery if the background is dark, but the downsides of OLED is that screen image burn in is possible if the background stays the same for a very long time, it is more expensive, and it can cause the aforementioned headaches. However, LCD screens' positives are that they are cheaper to produce, does not get screen burn in, and can be better for more reading time. I had a Samsung A23 5G phone with an LCD screen, and I must say that is the nicest looking LCD screen I've ever seen. It was almost as colorful as an OLED screen ! It was quite nice. Samsung produces the best screens on tablets/phones. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the screen on this tablet if you go with it. I hope that helped some. 😎

I have a question - What is the internal storage type on s9fe/fe+ is it ufs 2.0 or 2.1 or 2.2 or higher - I wasn't able to get this info online. Secondly the usb 2.0 without video output - It's a downgrade in terms of hardware yes, but imagine hoping a tab can actually replicate a desktop experience even with dex on video out, the mac minis and various laptops today are far more capable and affordable, tabs have a certain target audience/use case but the video out isn't truly one, may be nice to have but I don't see people that work on pcs using a tablet's video on a bigger screen often, but Samsung made sure the customers are not spolied with all the good stuff, definitely taking notes from Apple I see

Hi Ivan, have you any information on the ability for the s7fe and s9fe to output audio via usb c to a 3.5mm dac dongle so i can use my own headphones. I have tried the apple dac with my samsung phone and the max volume is very low. Any advice appreciated

Yes and yes. Not sure why yours aren’t working - I do have an LG usb c to 3.5, and it works perfectly. Gets loud also. Maybe try a different brand and see for better luck

Anker makes a USB-C to 3.5 mm. You can also use a Samsung OEM AKG USB-C wired earbuds are another good choice. Earbuds made for the Note 10 plus will work with this tablet.

Yes get a s8+ instead. 1. It has a far more powerful chipset which wouldn’t slow down in 3-4 years like the fes exynos chip. 2. It supports video out since it has usb 3.2. So you can connect the tablets display to a monitor using hdmi. 3. You can use the S pen on the s8+ as a remote and shutter during presentations which you can’t with the s9 fe

Hello, Ivan. Help! Im looking for upgrading from Tab S6 Lite 2020. My budget is 1000$ or 950$. I wish to have the Tab S9 Plus, but i dont saw noticable differences between Tab S8+. Problem is that the Tab S8+ 256GB 5G is running out of stocks or the stock is low about 2 units on one store. If i put 1172$ and get the Tab S9+ with this configuration, and trade in my old device and get up to 100$ cash back for this action. If the Black Friday time or christmas time doesnt low the pice more about 100-150$ offer for Tab S9+, my last decision will be to buy Tab S9FE Plus, and take in consideration to buy an S-Pen Pro for the full experience and features from Tab S9+, and after i run out of storage gonna buy for more 50$ a 512GB sd Card, and thats it. The question is: Keep my hope on finding Tab S8+, wait to see what Black Friday and if not christmas offers me as discounts, or buy Tab S9FE+ ? Maybe i can forgive the screen (maybe) but the absence of air commands on s-pen and that midrange Exynos, i cant accept these things.

Keep your hopes to grab a S8+, and I definitely would advise (if you can) to wait for Black Friday or Cyber Monday or December. Lots of deals around that time of the year as some places will be trying to get rid of the S8 series inventory

I believe a laptop would be more useful in your studies so better keep it. It would come in handy. You should buy another cheap or midrange tablet yourself

I bought Tab s9 fe plus I feel the battery is draining so fat during idle condition even in airplane mode it lost 10 percentage within 12hours in idle condition is it okay or there are any issues with the tablet

If your tablet is new it is still calibrating and the ui will learn your use habit and cut energy where you don't use it. But it need to learn your habits first.

It's pretty good, I run dbz legends on 3 level graphics quality and mid level resolution and get the full 90hz. You can do almost full quality settings for roblox the notch before the last one works beautiful6

I'd say S8+, cuz its premium tablet. I did my research on both S8+ and S9FE+, obviously, its S8+ with more features and an extra $50 would be fine for that. Plus or normal version depends on your need.
