It is hard for the human brain to grasp the concept of size, and to the levels it is able to reach. Just to think inside all of these galaxies there could be intelligence just like us, living like you and me, watching a similar video on a similar platform, commenting a similar post in whatever language is spoken there. It’s truly amazing

Actually, it's significantly larger than Andromeda. We've suspected this for about 4-5 years, but intellectually lazy people like Harry Evett perpetuate the long held myth that the Milky Way is only 100,000LY across, which isn't true. In actuality, the Milky Way over 250,000LY across and is the largest known Galaxy within 30 million light years. But since Harry Evett isn't a member of the scientific community, and doesn't stay current on what's being published, he presents bad and inaccurate information.

THe Milky Way is actually 200,000 light years across, as the 250,000 light year figure came from the 129,000 light year radius within which the mass of the Milky Eay was estimated, so it was misinterpreted. However, the Milky Way is much larger than previously thought, larger than even the Pinwheel Galaxy, Hoag’s object, the Cartwheel galaxy and more.
