Great tutorial. It was an easy fix. Took it to my cell provider and they could not do anything. They suggested to take it to a Cell Fix place and they suggested to either buy a new cell or to purchase a new screen which would have cost over $100. Glad that this solved my phone issue.

@@izzafatima1069 i'm sorry to hear that.. in my case, the screen was blacked out but i'd still get notification rings and phone calls.. they're just not showing anything, so i couldn't answer since touching the screen randomly wasn't working too. Maybe it only works if that's what happening..?

My phone just started doing this in the past month. It is so SMART it only goes into this mode when I absolutely need to make call or need access to my Calendar. If it happens before you go into a meeting you can't silence your phone and it dings and rings during meetings and you have no control. However, the fundamental question is WHY does this happen in the first place? It seems to me a software glitch and why doesn't SAMSUNG address it? It almost like pushing out an upgrade that slows down your phone to force you to buy a new one... Oh, that was Apple. Is there any manufacturer that can maybe use spell check to look up the definition of customer service? I would but my screen is black.

My S7 Edge went crazy yesterday, I had purple line's down the right hand side of the edge, I've tried everything more than once of what you've mentioned in your video but nothing seems to work, I've got the led cover which show's all the notification's, shows the battery being full but the bloody phone just won't reboot.
