Samsung just told me to clean the port and use another charger. Did not work, so this comment relates to me a lot.

SO grateful for this video. My son's phone just died out of the blue and if you know teens then you understand when I say you'd have thought life ended as he knew it! LOL. But, like so many other times, I got on KZread and typed in my issue and YOURS was the first video in line and that I opened. It worked exactly as you'd explained. THANK YOU on behalf of my son :)

You also have the problem of touch first or not beacuse my phone have problems first in touch then i reset the phone and then the screan becomes black

It worked! At first I tried the start button+ volume up for 15s and nothing happened so I left it charging. After couple of minutes the charging icon appeared and it turned on "odin mode" which tells you to hold start button + volume down for 7s to restart. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

What most videos failed to explain was the [volume up + power button] solution. Thanks for finally helping me fix my phone!

Thank you so much. First option worked. At first I thought it did not work. Held down the power and volume up button for 15 seconds. Kept flashing the power mode saying 0%. After trying the first option and not getting it to cycle on , I went to plug in the phone for second option and all of a sudden opened up the screen you showed in 1st option then I simply pressed the power button and everything turned back on. I was so upset when I charged the phone for 1 hour and still had a black screen. Thanks again for sharing this.
