For astro-photography, there is a special mode on the S24 hidden away in Expert Raw (I really wish they'd merge it with Pro mode!) You can choose from 4/7/10 minute exposures, and it overlays a cool constellation map - check it out.

@@AuthenTech you have to go to Expert Raw / Settings / Expert Raw Labs / Astrophoto to enable it, you then get a new option on the toolbar. It's really cool, I don't understand why they hid it and didn't promote it more.

Could the shaki-ness be more on S24U and P8Pro because both are mounted on extreme ends of your tripod, while iPhone is in the middle?

Hands down your best comparison video. Loved the fact you brought up the lens transition animations. I love pixels but those transitions and horrible video noise steer me away from wanting to record video with. Photos are the best of the best most of the time straight out of camera. Iphone is boring but the best camera system of the 3 for sure. Samsung is def getting there as well better than the pixel in video no question. Awesome video!

Could you compare the s24 ultra's display to the s22u or s23u to see the vibrancy difference?

I think this would have been better video if you would have went with the Iphone 15 pro max, that way all 3 phones would have been the best version of each not just Google and Samsung. Unfair advantage. I don't want to take anything away from the content. This is still a very well put together video and extremely useful! Thank you

@@oc3144 I think you’re exactly right. Most people have no idea that the Pro and Max have the exact same system, and only difference is that 5x. Which honestly the Max performs worse in that 3x and 4x range. It’s quite negligible.

​​​@@Frankcg29not much maybe 15 minutes less. However that is compensated by fast charging for 1 hour instead of 2 hour of iphone. That thing is that samsung already up par with iphone battery life.

Question, which phone do you use on the daily?

My issue with Samsung has always been the software. 6-12 months behind in mainline Android updates and the continued insistence to push rebranded Samsung bloatware on customers. Even with the hardware quality, I stick with "stock" OS phones like Pixel and IOS.

Pixel 8 pro , I think the best camera quality😊

I think the saturation in pixel 8 pro is less but it still looks really good!

Which one seems to take pics with the most natural colors?

At this point, I only got the Samsung S24 Ultra coz my last phone was the S6 edge plus and I'm so used to the OS. Pretty much all of them are Champions, can't go wrong with any of them😂😂

@EmotionalTrance yea man...the pixel is better for motion for sure. But they did much better this year, the shutter is faster for sure. I took a Pic of my dog the other day and caught him turning his head pretty quickly and the picture actually came out really good. I was in bright sunlight tho

Since 2007 I have been an iPhone lover. But, I'm seeing Pixel is taking the lead.

I've just got the s24 ultra, noted that when zoom from 3× to 5× there is a slight vertical shift on the picture, something feel like the phone tilt a few degrees. Does anyone have the same issue or just me got lucky?

Like to see this after the first few updates on the Android phones...

Good video bro, but the zoom test was not a fair fight for the iPhone, you needed the max mate, it makes a difference.

@oc3144 this is true. I'm just saying the comparison isn't fair as galaxy and pixel have objectively better hardware for the zoom situation, but he stated it won't make that much difference.

P8pro is stepping up in video compare to previous model. The price is also much cheaper than both s24u & ip15p.

I think iphone held well in 1hr of usage considering its battery is in the 3000+ mAh range whereas, the other two are in the 5000+mAh range..

People bash samsung for using grade 2 titanium... When the anti glare on the screen is the real G. Who cares about titanium you're gonna put it in case anyway just added cost.

Pixel 8 pro is superior, the Price not be mentioned is irrelevant, pixel 8 pro is phone to beat

There seems to be an inconsistency here. In the Night shot outside you mention a 4 minute exposure. In that amount of time, the stars would leave a trail. That does not happen in your night photo.

Is the 15 Pro Battery life that bad? ( I’ve seen it’s even worst than reg iPhone 15) Honestly the only reason I’m leaning towards the Pro Max is Battery life.

Just for your reference. 15 pro battery capacity is about 3000+mAh whereas, the other two the capacity is about 5000+mAh. So based on this review I think 15 pro did fine. In battery comparison the 15 pro Max would had been better but that too has a lower battery capacity of just 4400+mAh but I think it would had fared much better.

How is the Pro Max “too chunky” and $200 more but you’re also using the S24 Ultra, which costs more than the Pro Max? You can’t complain about the Pro Max size and cost when the S24 Ultra is $100 more and a similar size.

that battery life comparison at the 4:40 mark has one issue: neither the iphone nor the pixel have mobile network, your sim is in the S24U. Mobile network kills the battery on the pixel, it would not be in the lead if none of these devices had sims in them.

This is a true statement

My iPhone 15 Pro won’t focus for anything. I’m super disappointed with it. I had a Pixel 7 Pro and the zoom was unreal. I could read street signs three blocks away.

iPoop mode TOO narrow!! Lets take a normal pic and use the filter and turn it into a portait pic, meanwhile I know for a fact that S24 does the same thing, and propably Pixel does the same, why not mentioned above? And mention like it is something unique that only IPhone can do?

Pixel 8 Pro might be the greatest, I guess but I'm just not sold on the price 😅 screen brightness/ reflection and the CPU leaves plenty of room to improvement
