@LastEnvelope for the same reason everyone compares Android when Apple comes out, for comparisons sake and everyone has their on reason. Both phones are great in their own right. Both do something better then the other. You can’t take these things personally.

Same, it has completely replaced my iPads as a secondary device which I was using for the last 7 years, now I just carry my laptop and this. Its the best thing one can buy in 2023

I got the S23 Ultra by the Samsung release, used it few month but few weeks ago i changed it against the s23 plus. AND its awesome!! For my Hands the Best, the ultra is still tooo big! And i see minimalistics points between the Ultra and the Plus. Best Choice for me.

Absolutely right dicission S23 or 23+ is more than sufficient

I just got mine yesterday. Upgraded from the S22 Ultra. I find the display on the S22 U to be better since the black borders (bezels) on the 23 Ultra are way bigger than on the 22 Ultra. The battery life on the S23 Ultra is absolutely phenomenal. I charged it yesterday and 24 hours later it's now on 40%. I love that. ❤️

@egi the bezels all around on the 23 Ultra are way bigger than on the 22 Ultra. Side by side it's very noticeable and makes the 23U display appear slightly smaller. Color calibration and everything else is the same.

Just picked one of these up today, thank you for reinforcing my decision!

For the last few years Samsung has been offering a higher trade in value for their flagships than iPhone. I just got $700 for my S22 ultra, but I only paid $680 for it last August so I got back $20 more than I paid for it. You can't get better value than that. 😊

I bought it as a secondary phone to my iPhone and I enjoy it immensely. Over the last year, I experimented with about 5 different Android phones and all of them fell short in the battery and performance department. I think Samsung has shortened the gap between iPhone and Android with this phone. Will it replace my iPhone as a daily driver? No but it’s a nice travel/work phone for sure. I recommend it!

Apple has really came a long way in the battery department. I remember years ago, I’d mock iPhones for their horrible battery life. I had an iPhone 5 and it’s battery life was the worst!

Just got the S23 Ultra, first picture I took was of the Moon in broad daylight. Whats insane is how you can actually zoom in so far you can see the craters on the moon in detail. Not to mention the speed of this thing!

What I don't get about the theme store and the always on display is Samsung doesn't add either one of those to it's tablet lines.

It's an amazing phone and am using for a month now. I have switched from iPhone and found so many features, still hunting more

Got mine today .. Upgraded from the Galaxy S21... This phone is an absolute beast

Not just great battery life for Samsung phone, but great battery life for any phone. I just got 12 hours 36 minutes screen on time with 46 hours usage off one full charge. And last week with light usage I got 8 hours screen on time, and 60 hours on one charge 😊

@Boogie-Man I start with the display because they say that consumes the most battery. I usually run it at about 25% brightness because I'm indoors most of the time. With Adaptive brightness on. I use a black wallpaper, a black theme, and dark mode always. I do run the screen at full resolution. Because I like it Krispy. For software, I keep all of my 100-plus apps up-to-date. Check them daily, and I run the optimizer once a day. Because it only takes like, 2 seconds. I also have the display set to turn itself off after 2 minutes of inactivity. Because I tend to lay the phone down with the screen on and forget it. And if it ever looks like the battery is draining faster than I think it should, I look in device care under battery and check which app is drawing the juice. And either fix the reason or get rid of it.

I ordered a phantom black version for my little brother, but after watching your video I decided to go for this beautiful Red. Thank you!

Got mine less than a week ago. Came from Iphone 12 pro max. Its still taking me a while to get used to. I definitely miss imessage. I enjoyed texting my wife with that. Nonetheless, i still love the phone. And im obsessed with the green color. The color of the phone is actually my favorite color in general.

I'm thinking of buying S23 Ultra when a price discount comes up. It looks fantastic. But i'm having trouble to descide if i need the 12gb ram version. Is 12gb ram necessary if you dont multitask a lot?🤔 I only have 1-5 running in the background at the same time, and i rarely use splitscreen.

Oh no, you can get the baseline storage option, and it does a fantastic job. It keeps all of my apps in the background open all of the time, no crashes

@@shomari17 been trying how long it lasts on low power mode. Took it of the charge at 8:30am this morning, it is currently 22:05pm and I have 50% of battery left with 5 hours and 41 minutes of sot. That's insane!

I love the high contrast fonts haha

Will buy in June July as i can get some offers in this months to buy the phone for cheaper rates

I'm getting the Samsung S23 Ultra in lavender in today i can't wait to get it to try and see for myself how welll this device holds up and try the battery life. IF it is like the iPhone 13 pro max this android will be a beast of a phone.

I think the thing is with apple that people are just locked into its eco system cause I know a bunch of mates that would swap to Samsung or pixel but they stay with apple because of convenience.

It definitely doesn't get boring.. I thought was getting a little bored by I changed the case added some new widgets and a live wallpaper now I'm back in love with it.. Not to mention I bought a pixel but it was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to bland and boring

An 11th reason is the S23 Ultra has much better speakers. Their louder and clearer then the S22 Ultra. Samsung added a 3rd speaker though they didn't mention it. There is a grill on the bottom left,a microphone on the far right bottom that you can hear the music and sound coming out of and of course the mic earpiece on the top right were the music or sound comes out of.

The only significant flaw I've found is blurry motion pics. It's otherwise an insanely great phone

For the very first time I switched my iPhone 12 Pro Max for this stunning S23 Ultra ! This phone is a beast ! However, I'm back to my iPhone. I love taking pictures and photos on this S23 Ultra are too much saturated. It seems there is a filter on each photo...☹️☹️☹️

I really want you to recommend some mid ranger phone for us like especially I want you to do some comparison between A52s 5g - Poco x5 and - Redmi note 12 pro - Samsung A73 I already know comparison like that exists but I still want to know from you since you explain everything in more detail and if you could test some daily using like opening social media and stuff like that and from testing large games like PUBG mobile to doing some battery drain test it would great and much appreciated

I love the curves. Writing with the spen is the same as writing on anything else. When you get to the edge, stop writing and go to the next line. You would have to do that on a flat screen, too.

23 ultra seems pretty legit. I will try it one day 😊

Some flaws I found: it has the lowest PWM frequency rate (240Hz) display in the flagship market, which tires sensitive people's eyes more. They wanted to reduce cost like that. There are about 10% of people oversensitive to the PWM OLED displays. And the software experience is still not as unified as iOS or Pixel ones due to mixing Google, Samsung, and even Microsoft ecosystems by default. Just be aware of that.

The UI experience is definitely unified. It's the most unified and has the most expansive ecosystem that can't be touched by any other company. You might not know what you're talking about.

@@jordanjackson8873 No the fact is that Samsung's apps ecosystem is just too weak. So they have to integrate it with Microsoft and Google apps. And it makes the Samsung experience slightly messed up in my opinion. I understand why it is so. It is hard when you make great hardware but an average software.

It's not most premium display today but the Honor Magic5 pro is. Planning to change from S23u to M5p....

TBH I love the notion of the S pen, but found myself very very rarely using it. I would make excuses for having spent the extra money on the Ultra, but it was a pretty flimsy reason. Unless you have a very specific usecase that requires frequent use of an S pen in my opinion the model below has everything the Ultra has minus the few hundred $\£\€ for the S pen

What about the microscratches? I know you are supposed to use a screen protector, but i bought one and the fingerprint does not work, face recognition is not even half way close to iphone's, took it off and used one day without a protector and now it looks like an old phone 😔

I'm sorry you have micro scratches. You gotta be careful with your phones. It's glass.......I put the Samsung screen film protector on my phone before I touched the screen on day one. Whenever you install a screen protector, you should reset your fingerprints.

People that say the s pen is useless really never used it...u can do alot with...and its fun using to just stroll thru the internet..and if u are into to games like spades scrabble etc its so fun using and better than using ur hands

I have had S23 ultra 256GB since February. The only regret was that I didn't buy the 512GB version.

Currently using a 14 pro max I tried the S22 ultra not so long back and the battery was just a killer for me with the phone liked the experience tempted with the S23 ultra just don’t know about the battery and if it’s worth the switch getting bored of the same thing with iPhone dynamic island is abit annoying also

The iPhone 15 is actually a 2024 phone it comes out at the very end of this year with only a few months left, iPhone 14 was their phone for this year seeing how it covers the majority of the year. Almost 9 months of the year is on iPhone 14 so that is the 2023 iphone.

Ten things to like about it and only one thing to ruin them all and that is the camera. The cameras are giving us greeny looking pictures
