Hi from the UK, great video, Hawaii looks amazing. I have the Exynos version but preferred a lot of your Sunset shots from the Snapdragon. It bugs me why we don't get Snapdragon phones here as a default. We pay more ( exchange rates) and get theoretically, less! I've only had my S21 Ultra a few weeks, camera a massive jump up on my Note 10+ but i feel still needs some work.

Some shots look better on the Exynos version, but overall, it is what it is. I preferred lots of the shots from my version, and it us what I have I am not a professional photographer/videographer and canera/smartphone techie to notice the difference, or care too much, as long as it works well. But it's great to be aware of these things. It's similar to comparing my S21 Ultra 512G with an iPhone 12 Pro Max 512G. Each one has its strengths and weaknesses and that is understandable. But they are all great, nonetheless. 👍 I hope you enjoyed your vacation here.

Yes, the grainy areas are an issue on Exynos. I'm using this variant and sometimes the photos come out grainy, even in good light, especially on green leaves. Sometimes they don't, even on the same scene with the same light so I believe it's definitely a software problem. I hope they will fix it, the phone is relatively still new.

Great vid! Thank you! But I really hope Samsung does not change the way Exynos' post processing show us a lot of details at night, even if there's more noise. Look at both pics shown at the 11:50 mark - you can clearly see a huge amount of details on the wall. On the other hand, all you see in the SD model is blur. I can easily de-noise a image, but can't bring back lost details.

If you consider the sheer sensor size of this phone those blotchy noises shouldn't have existed in the first place, hell even unprocessed RAWs will probably look a lot less noisy than this. Snapdragon variant simply missed the focus here, if it locked the focus just fine then it would've been an easy victory for Snap.

My wife had her brief moment of glory and mocked my purchased. I knew I had an ace up my sleeve with a pretty huge software update. Thanks for your comparison i was gona purchase the Indian Exynos variant now i doubt i should. Also checked your Mi11 ultra comparison i was thinking of going for the same but again the battery drain and heat issues are stopping me from doing so. Kinda confuse what i should go for now.

A lot of those night shots with more noise had better detail. That's the trade off. For someone that reviews cameras you should know this by now. Less noise means more smeared detail.

You're the greatest pixel peeper on KZread. In a good way! You really have an eye for detail! I find your camera reviews / comparisons extremely informative and very well done. Congrats! By the way, I'm on Note 20 ultra, waiting one more year for Note 22 ultra.

So one shot makes me take back what I said? There may be more detail on the wall but the noise is terrible to the point where the shot is unusable! Without punching in I can see the noise EVERYWHERE. I just call it like I see it. If you like Exynos better that is FINE! There is nothing wrong with that. I have zero bias and couldn't care less which one is better. I am trying to help people make the best buying decision. I don't have to take 200 pictures or even more for each video. This is just what I do. If you don't like it you can always watch someone else.

Auto by its very nature is always going to be inconsistent. While there are certain processing-related trends, it doesn't really matter when the differences are so small and insignificant.

I am using a Poco F2 Pro with Gcam, i don't know how the comparison would be like against the S21 Ultra but the Night Sight takes crazy good night photo, even for just a port. I almost never have noisy sky with it. I just have to turn on astrophotography and try to hold still for about 10-12s and it even correct the colours on top of making it bright. The night mode on the F2 Pro is nowhere near that quality. So while i like the hardware technology on the Samsung phone, the Pixel is really something to look forward to, especially if the leak were true and they are using newer hardwares for their cameras + that periscope zoom.
