My Note 8 has manual camera mode, universal usb type C port, SD slot, fast and wireless charging, insane battery life, the best Quad HD 1440p 1200 Nits display on the market which is lightyears ahead any iPhone display. Not to mention we can download APK and just about everything, tons of customization, headphone jack, IP68 water resistant. I could go on with more if you want.

Do you believe a screen protector is necessary for the Note8? I keep an otterbox and a body guard screen protector but the protector shatters weekly because of the curve in the glass. I am as careful as I can be with my devices but something as simple as my phone falling off my lap or seat in the car and falling between the seats or onto the console shatters the rounded section of the protector. I have now hit double digits now on replacements and I continue to wonder if protectors are even necessary?

Is it safe to keep note 8 in front jeans pocket and do daily stuff or will it bend or crack. Please reply.

At the very least, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has done everything right. - glass all over (front and back) including both lens and the flash - idiot proof pen - metal grill covering the ports - water proof IP68 - 3.5 mm audio port - SD card - wireless charging I hope that Apple can impress us. They really have been slacking in terms of hardware updates over each new generation of iPhones.

You should turn the note8 to a clear back one like the s8

@jerryrigeverything my note 8 scratched on both sides and can see and feel the scratches..neber droped my phone..but one nyt wen i went to sleep i put my phone face down and slept on floor(parkey) so please tell me whether it got scratched by this material or does it scratch easily on parkey floor

Hello it would be great if Jerry can include a drop test instead of the burn test. Because in daily use is more possible to drop a phone. This is why a lot of very fragile phones ands like durable phones when in actual use is not that durable ( all glass phones). Please like this comment if you like the idea so jerry can see this
