I just got the note 20 after previously having the note 9, I'm so glad you mentioned to scan the same finger twice because I was getting frustrated with the in screen finger print scanner being a bit slow or not always recognising immediately which was never an issue I experienced with the note 9. Such first world problems, I know 🙄 but that tip has made such a difference! Thank you!!

I'm still on my much loved Note 9 so it's been awhile since I've had to set up a phone. Thanks for reminding me of a few things and inspiring me to do others! This is a great tutorial for beginners as well. I've had every single Note (even the poor, sad Note 7) and I absolutely love them. I'll never give up my S Pen!!! Thanks again! Subscribed so I can follow for more great videos! Also, I've heard that preorders may get the phone on the 19th! Some were posting their FedEx delivery manager showing shipping on 17th, arriving the 19th! Very excited to get my 20 Ultra 512gb in black! Meant to add that my personal order does not yet show shipping information. I've checked every few hours since I started seeing possible early shipping. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up! I know it 3 years after it came out but I hear its still great phone to use in 2023. Also I guess it ĺl be the last actual note I ll ever have. 😢Gotta set it up though so I m typing this on my trusty note 8 which is dying . Gonna miss my little note 8 to but onwards and upwards

My white Note 20 Ultra just arrived today. I've been a Google smartphone user for year's and have really liked the pure Android. I purchased a Galaxy a few years back and sold it within a month, absolutely hating the phone. I didn't think I'd go back to Samsung again, but with Google not producing a higher end phone with the Pixel 5, instead choosing budget, and with all the great reviews for the Note 20 Ultra, I ordered one from Samsung unlocked. I've been playing around with this phone for 6 hour's and I've got to say: I'm completely blown away. I absolutely LOVE this phone so far. Sure, I could do without a lot of the Samsung bloatware and duplicate apps, but I'll live with that to get everything else. This phone is BEAUTIFUL all around. The display is absolutely stunning. I love the screen size. For me, its PERFECT. I love the width and height. I was hoping it wouldn't be tall and skinny like the Motorola Edge Plus I purchased and returned a couple of months ago. That screen ratio was horrendous and the curved display led to a ridiculous amount of "false touches". Something I haven't had at all with this Note 20 Ultra. It's curved enough to look "cool", yet not too much to cause non-stop false touches. I can't wait to mess with the camera. To anyone considering this phone, if you like "big, beautiful, displays, you're going to love this phone.

Not just drop, the cover will provide the protection from the bump of the camera. The first day I used my phone, I was scared to put it down because the camera bump keeps it slightly elevated.

Oh kay, first, thanks for a very informative video. I have pre-ordered a Note 20 ultra. My current phone is about 10 years old and the battery died. Anyway, it looks like I have a great deal of "work" ahead of me. Looking forward to all of the followup videos. I would like to offer up one suggestion; slow down? I adjusted the playback speed to .75 and there were still somethings I missed. Thanks for providing the timecode list, that will be helpful when a watch this again with the Note in hand. Again, thanks for the info and I am looking forward to more.

@@TBourne14 Do you mean Jerry Rig Everything? I mean maybe but those are special picks made up of super hardened material. Your regular old car keys couldn't do that kind of damage. That's just an extreme example. I'm sure there's a benefit even if it's not exactly 2* better. Advertising isn't always straight forward. When they say note 20 is available in 512gb it doesn't mean that's the case model. Advertising is always a "best case" scenario. I'm sure the same applies here. In any case j already pre-ordered mine day one and can't wait to get it on Friday !

New subscriber after watching this video! Great walk-through! I have mine pre-ordered. Any idea if the Note 20 will work with the DeX pad? Wireless DeX won't help me much when my wi-fi is slow. I hope it works with the DeX pad, so I can use the HDMI connection, Bluetooth keyboard/mouse, and unlimited data.

Great content.. I still love my note10 (non-plus) i picked it up on black Friday sales along with a galaxy watch with a massive discount.. I am one who much prefers the squared off corners and waterfall display.. The note10 is a great size, fits in the hand and pocket just fine, not too big and not small by any means, just perfect.. I'll wait for next years Note as my next upgrade.. Previous to my note10 and galaxy watch I had an iPhone 8 plus and series 3 apple watch - although it was a decent phone and watch neither of them came close to how much better Samsung is and how much i enjoy the customisation ability and great emulators available in the play store along with the sensational Samsung DeX

Samsung has disappointed me with this one. $1,300, no headphones, 128gs instead of 256gs standard like the Note 10+ , no headphone jack, no case in the box, no 45 watt charger in the box, no IR blaster, no 120hz refresh rate at QHD resolution, no 30 watt wireless charging, S-Pen on the left side of the device, a 4,500 mAh battery as opposed to a 5,000 mAh battery? No sell for me. Please stop making excuses for these companies that's charging you more money but are giving you less in return.

Note 10+ to Note 20 Ultra is a solid upgrade I feel but S20 Ultra to Note 20 Ultra is far less ideal and something that I won’t recommend. There are a lot of stand out features mostly with the camera that make the Note 20 Ultra pretty appealing and with the trade in offerings it’s pretty competitive pricing. I mean I don’t know where else you can trade in a Note 9 and get $500 off. But I do understand your frustration. I said a lot of the same things and had to take a step back.

@@OT4Tech I have no issue with there trade in deals because they are pretty generous but to keep taking away things or not adding things that they should bothers me, especially when you can get a lot of those things I mentioned on other premium devices for a lot less money. The Note series was always known has the device that gave you everything. They use to be the Swiss Army Knife of all smartphones.

Completely feel that. I think I made that same statement with the Note 7 when it exploded on the scene lol.. but in seriousness, they are following the trends of other smartphone makers. They definitely have stripped away some things but they’ve added things too. In the end it all comes down to what’s important to you. The 45 watt charger btw is a joke. I have it and it’s only good for burst charging and charges in the same time as the 25 watt one that’s included. Fast wireless charging is included on the Note 20 Ultra but it’s not like Oneplus or Oppo. Going back to the Note 7 fiasco, this is something Samsung will forever tiptoe around. They can’t afford something like that happening again so they will never offer the fastest charging on any device. I don’t want to justify them stripping things away so don’t think that I am but some times as a reviewer we have to play devils advocate.

I have the SD version which works excellent. The gaming experience is great and it doesn't get hot during normal use as long as you're not outside in the heat haha. Battery life has also been great so far but I am still testing it.

Really helpful and impressive video. I’ve just purchased a s20 plus but most settings are applicable as well, so that’s why I watched. Looks a really nice phone but I wouldn’t use the spen much or at all. So I went for the s20 plus. I thought about the ultra but I thought I would save a little money.

After the second recall, I decided to head back to the iPhone. I got tired of the restrictions and limitations somewhat. I liked the build quality but Samsung and a few others are making nice stuff now. So I'm back but have forgotten how to do so many things! This is helpful! Thanks!
