The system reads it as an external storage instead of am extension to Internal storage for some reason. Interesting.

Are there SD cards for ram storage? Or are SD cards already made for that?

Not sure if you can help, but I tried doing this, as every time I check "My Files" it just shows that "SD card" is "Not inserted." And when I go to put my SD card in, it will show the symbol as if it's reading it at the top of the phone (like you showed here), but it will say "Issue with SD card Tap to fix" in the drop down notice. And once I try to format it that way, it acts like it did it, but just keeps saying and doing the same thing. And if I try to format it the way you're showing in the video, I cannot swipe to the left to get from ""Internal Storage" to "SD card." It's like it just won't read it or work.

Can you run apps on this?

When you said to make sure to back up things we don't want deleted, do you mean what's on the internal storage, things saved to the phone or things on the actual SD card?

Did u find out bc I'm scared to lose my pictures bc when u back up it never comes out same quality

My phone doesn't read the SD card. What am I doing wrong? When I go to storage there is no option to swipe its just the phone storage

You have to swipe from right to left, and the page populates. I have zero tech skills. What I did was stop the video as he explained each step, and it worked great. Don't give up. I think you have to swipe again to bring up the format screen, which took ten seconds. Then go to camera and click change. You can do it

Suggest you reseat the card . It should reformat and just keep going. Either your sim or the sd card might be off alignment. Misaligned sims can cause resets. Either that or check your sd card is compatible version and not above 1TB

What I want to know where is sim 1 or is first the sim 1 or the last

Sim1 is the MIDDLE of the 3 holes in the holder. Memory card on the left, then Sim1 in the middle, then Sim 2 on the right - IF your phone can have TWO Sim cards. 😀

When I tapped on the three dots advanced didn't come up, just format or unmount.

My S9 would do this, but the standard card shows is too big for my S23. As usual, no manual was supplied. Is there a smaller card? What is it called?

Well that didn't go well for me, I clicked on format and my SD card disappeared from the storage section. and now won't work in any of my devices.☹
