12 years ago Gal Gadot modelled for my ex's graduation collection in fashion school in Israel, which was a low-paying gig for aspiring models, and we spent some coffee and cigarette breaks on a crummy old bench in the school's backyard during rehearsals. She was stunning, but the cynic in me was especially struck by how joy flowed out of her so effortlessly. It was clear it has nothing to do with how she looks, her status, acheivements or anything external like that, just like in these primetime interviews. Perhaps the person most comfortable in their own skin I have ever met.
