I LOVE THIS COVER Gakupo is definitely more suited for this song

For someone whose been contaminated, he actually doesn't look that bad (unlike most of the ones in the disturbing but awesome vocaloid choir video). He kept most of his human appearance. Some people can just handle sickness (or bullying) better.

I've actually interpreted this in another way! Some people prefer to "better" themselves to be able to take revenge against those who wronged them, I think this would be a pretty interesting twist in another interpretation of the whole "becoming a monster" thing and getting spreading their contamination! Instead of crumbling to the pits of self deprecation and being unable to stand up for youself, he could've chosen to "better" himself and choose that to his advantage becoming a manipulative weapon by using his looks or personality to swoon other people and make them crumble thanks to the bacteria!
