From what I can tell, Ritsu is (most likely) a transgender female. Gakupo must've thought of Ritsu as an actual girl( like Ritsu would probaly want if that's the case), and thus counted her/him as a women ;).

He was made as a youthful, yet deeper female voicebank advertised as a teenage female, but was confirmed to be a 6-year-old male crossdresser. It was also stated that Ritsu's gender COULD be however the specific user interpreted, but if it goes by the creator's original intention, Ritsu is just a crossdressing boy with a bully complex.

@@darthestar8791 Ritsu is in no way transgender. The author made him as a joke. Ritsu is a 6 yo boy of 25 tons that look way more older and who like feminine clothes and to crossdress. The issues was that since Ritsu looks like a girl, many people called him a girl, so the author got just like "well do what you want". But in no way he is trans. Just because Gackupo sees him as a woman doesn't mean he is a girl. That thing is a well known joke in comedy anime. For exemple you have Baka to test where Hideyoshi looks like a girl that they sometimes count him as girl only for the joke purpose, you also sees this joke with Oregairu. "It's a boy, it's looks like a girl, so it's still might work". Just by the fact that Ritsu is 6 yo make Gackupo a pedophile xD No to forget that the point of that song is about a annoying desperate dude that want a girlfriend whoever she is.
