I was there and saw the first show. Gaio did such an amazing job, really doing his best for you Jesse. The speaker asked the audience to be very quiet and everybody was holding its breath, we all knew his past. There were a lot of small children and they were all so very quiet and enjoying the magic between you two. I was very touched by it, so beautiful the bond you share to see right in front of you, I could feel it. Thank you Jesse, to show us what patience and love can do to a horse.

He trusts and adores you... the love between you both is obvious. I say it every time. That was beyond magic. If nature and love had a baby it would be Jesse. The connection you have Jesse, with every animal is something people are in awe of. How many would have written this beautiful horse off and or how many homes would he have had. Sold on and on and on. You gave him enough love to be who he is meant to be and nobody could ever ask for more. You make many people want to do and be better with their own horses and for that uou have to be immensely proud. He is a horse that is busy in his mind and to achieve that, in that arena, shows he has you, as much as you have him. Wow.❤❤❤❤❤

I can't believe how far this beautiful horse has come. Comparing the first videos you had of him to now, he is a different horse. He had sort of a sadness before, and now he looks so happy. When Gaio didn't come out and you were walking away and then he came cantering out, it was like magic! You should build that into your show - some humor and it looked like Gaio missed you and wanted to be with you! Loved your show!

A super amazing horse with so much power and yet so gentle. He just loves to play. Jesse you have transformed him and freed him to be his true self again. What a beautiful horse he is and the connection he has with you is super amazing how he trusts you and loves you really comes across in his performance. Jesse, you are very gifted young man.

The way Gaio entered the arena after being loosed was magnificent! Don't know if the plan was for him to run in so enthusiastically, but keep it if you can. Simply amazing.

It’s truly amazing how you’ve given this horse his life back. He LOVES his new job with you. He constantly looks to you for leadership and security. Even when he is distracted by the crowd he is drawn back to you like a magnet. When he took off towards the warm up ring I truly believe he was looking for you. He knew you were out there somewhere!! When he found you in the show arena he was so happy!!!! What a marvelous exhibit of love, patience and horsemanship. You should be proud of yourself to have accomplished so much with Gaio. I thought it was planned. You were on one end of the arena and Gaio came in. He was looking for you. He knew you were there and he went in with the intent to find you. He looked all around the arena and when he saw you, he ran to you. I thought it was a beautiful moment. I’ve never seen a horse that truly loves his owner. Gaio loves you. It’s so evident.

I wonder if he somehow recognized himself on the screen. I mean, how many opportunities has he had to observe himself in a mirror or reflective surface at the stables at home that would cue him to recognize himself when in the "unusual," high-energy environment of the performance arena, with the lights, music, tons of people and the big suspended screen? _Maybe_ he recognized Jesse on the screen, but I'm guessing it was a coincidence - the screen would likely have been a distraction for most horses, when their trainers want their focus on _them._

I’m so proud of you and Gaio - you’ve come such a long way together. Your performances were terrific - but I have to say Gaio’s ad lib gallop to you in the second show stole my heart!

Moved to tears that you could give this horse a better future.

This was fabulous! Gaio looked like he was having the time of his life! His spirit seemed to be soaring during so much of that, it was so touching to see. Also, the way he focuses in on you Jesse is amazing. The two of you have definitely built a bond that is very deep, and the love you have for each other shown through and lit up the arena. This made even this cold heart warm and smile.

Wow Gaio looks so relaxed compared to how he was when you first started with him. He has such a bond with you, I am glad you make him feel safe.

I detest bullfighting and have refused to attend one in spite of having holidayed in southern Spain for many years with my family. The poor brave bulls are just tortured to death and I think it's just the modern equivalent of the Romans watching gladiatorial games in the Coloseum.
