    Wow what a simple fix, I went out right after watching your video, sure enough I had 2 inches of cable extra, put on the zip ties and my 97 f150 with 245000 miles has new power! Thanks for the video 👍

    First off, L…A…R…R…Y…!!!!!!! love the new headlights… I bought the same design for my old ‘99 F150 and loved them. They look like the ‘04-08 generation and look killer!! Secondly, my ‘99 felt the same way so it probably had that same issue with the cable!! Keep up the incredible work!! 👍

    I noticed the same gap on my 97 Chevy pickup and was thinking of what to use to accomplish this hack, but had not considered zip ties. I will do this to it. Thank you for the video!

    my dad had a 2000 with a 5.4 stock exhaust and true full throttle sounded amazing and never got stretched that I remember and something i noticed before he sold it was that it felt that it had a massive cam but it was just plugs

    I had a 99 lariat, green and gold. Awesome truck , I did the same thing, worked well. The biggest improvement was the larger throttle body. It was reasonably cheap on eBay. It just bolted on. A new return spring and a high flow air filter was worth about 40 horsepower more all said and done.

    Those triton motors are pretty decent. I used to own a 99 extended cab Eddie Bauer edition. It ran very good.

    Good hack! Ill try that on my 99 Expedition. A small piece of small diameter hose / line sliced diwn the length to slip it over the cable and one zip tie would work to.

    I remember the first time I put a real aftermarket exhaust (MagnaFlow) on my 2001 Ford Expedition XLT. I never turned on my radio again. I just loved listening to that small block. Did the same on my 2004 Explorer XLT and that 4.0/V-6 sounded wicked (it's on my channel's trailer).

    Get some sequential tube switchbacks to fill in the gap on the headlight!!! I’ve been wanting to try it on my 01 Silverado but haven’t tried yet!!

    Not a bad idea, if the throttle cable stretches that bad, consider replacing it with a new one. Also, there was a slight wobble in your steering wheel that looks to me like your alignment is a little off. But it was steady when you were cruising. Nice truck, have a good week !

    You can achieve the same thing by bending the bracket that holds the cable at the throttle body. It did make a noticable difference in a 4.3

    I have a 1987 Chevrolet Caprice mint car garage kept 250,000+ had motor replaced to keep her going Turns out full throttle is only 1/6 throttle haha. Very peppy now definitely would recommend.

    I did this on my 74 datson coupe works great I now have 48hp instead of 30 it will do 68mph now and it was 55 downhill on a good day.

    Those cables all stretch over time. Just cut a couple inches off and make it all tight again. No need for zip tie spacers.

    You really need to see with an assistant, weather the TB is truly at WOT or not the way it was. The TB actuatuon only has a certain range before tue stopper tang contacts the stop point.

    ⁠​⁠ sounds like catless straight pipe, if you’re looking for a pretty mild volume that still sounds good I would go with a flow master flow fx, specifically the one that looks similar to a glass pack, got some on my truck and I love them

    My 1993 2.3 5sp 2wd has 506,000+ on original engine transmission and rear end! Been my daily to work truck for last 12 years. I got it 12 years ago for $1400 because it needed a new hydraulic clutch cylinder. Amazing what regular maintenance and some preventative maintenance does!!! No tics taps or raps, nor does it leak anything

    I just did the plugs, wires and coils. The ground strap was crazy thin, the gap was probably .070 or .080. Next is the ICM and heater core. Then headliner and center console. Its a beater but better on gas than my 6.2 Silverado

    @@johnnyp5573 auto or stick? Only real issue I've had is the hydraulic clutch. I'm on like #3 maybe 4. Clutch not a problem, it's that hydraulic slave cylinder. I'm an asphalt guy so I'm all over the state of Pa. Don't wanna get asphalt all over my nice car n truck. Good luck with yours

    I thought I'd go about correcting the issue the "right" way on my truck by replacing the cable with the updated part number. Put the new cable in, and it was almost the same length as the stretched cable.

    After doing this, I figured out that I was already getting full throttle, but it definitely shortens the distance to the throttle your trying to reach
