When I do my reaction videos I don't press pause because I don't want to interrupt the natural flow of the music as it was originally intended by the artist. I try to vocalise my thoughts in real time as I listen to the song, and then summarise my reaction afterwards.

Only recently discovered this band, but they are amazing.
Loved that. I could not escape that crazy bass-line which added so much more than you normally get. Thanks Steve.
A really fun song to jam out in the car while driving around 😄
The verse alternates a bar of 7/4 then 2 bars of 4/4. Except after the solo when it's just 4/4 throughout. I'd call the prechorus 3/4.

@@SteveOGRock The replay value of Gacharic Spin songs is very high. The initial overload that you mentioned is not unpleasant rather it invites replays to delve further into the songs arrangement and mix.

I can see them so hopefully Steve can too! Its fair to say that sometimes the vocals are not perfect live, and they don't really do much in the way of post-production as far as I can tell, so maybe that's where he's coming from? I can't get enough of watching their live stuff though - have to see them in person one day.......

Yeah I watched a couple live in-studio videos and it’s certainly raw input audio without much production. It’s of course impressive with that in mind, but it’s not a fantastic listening experience in my opinion 🤷🏻♂️

@@SteveOGRock Ok, so you've not seen them live as in on a stage with an audience? If not, you should definitely checkout at least one live version from Nanaka's list above as this band is there to entertain, although I appreciate as a musician you want to hear the clearest version to take it all in. p.s. I really enjoy your reactions and how much you appreciate the skill level of the GS members 👍

@@SteveOGRock Alive -Ganbare Nippon- acoustic, is a must watch. So emotional! And the video uploader added lyrics in the close captions. "Broken Lover" 2015 performance is amazing too, but you have to prepare yourself before. You need a great stamina otherwise you will be out of breathe

@@SteveOGRock Ahh, yeah they have some live streams from lockdown that obviously have whatever audio happened at the time. Still great but not mixed/mastered how we'd normally expect to hear things.

Look closly, Tomo-zo (the lead guitarist) is playing her Ice Cream guitar custom made by ESP Guitar. It has a shape of an ice cream cone. Puhahaha. It' has a compartment for candies and stuff. They are all mad.
