Gabriel outsang his studio version by far. He completely rearranged it. His resonance was incredible. His runs were completely different and more beautiful and he whistled differently and much higher twice. It was a magical work of art. I thank you so much for your wonderful reaction and continued support of Gabriel. He is my favorite male vocalist for his soulful voice and that he continues to remain so humble. Stu ❤❤

This is an absolute masterpiece!! The vibe the choir conveys puts you right there with Harriet Tubman running for freedom! Gabriel's original version of this song was fantastic, but this slightly slower live version shows off his style and artistry at its best! Let's also mention his dad's guitars which really add soul to the piece! The call and response from the choir men and women, the dramatic drum and bass elevate this to the heavens! Congratulations to this production, Gabriel, Black to Black, musicians and cameraman! This is a real treat I just witnessed!!

It is wonderful to see Gabriel's family in the videos now. They have been behind the scenes, creating these masterpieces. Now, when you hear a wailing guitar, it's his father and that steady, relentless drumming comes from his friend. The bass, consistent always, is compliments of his brother and another friend is trying to remain seated at the piano but I fear, he needs a seatbelt!! Then there is that voice...leveled up again! Brilliant!
