Today we Elucidate the deeds of the Chapter Master of the Blood Ravens Chapter: Gabriel Angelos.
The son of a retired Astra Militarum soldier, Angelo's life would be marked by sacrifice from it's inception by the death of his mother during childbirth.
Rising to the rank of Captain of the Blood Ravens 3rd Company, Angelos would continue to sacrifice everything for his Chapter in the wake of heretical corruptions of his peers, endless wars and betrayals by those he held most dear...

Maybe it is super special terminator armor with mega servos? Or, being potentially of TS gene-stock, he could have latent psychic abilities that he inadvertently uses to increase his mobility. Or he borrowed a Harlequin Flip Belt? Seriously, there are countless "plausible" explanations for this folly. Yes, they are dumb, but I would sooner complain about many other failings of DW3 than some attack animation.

It happens, its just rarer than dying in battle. More often than not though its a case of "your unit suffered too heavy casualites and we cant spare the lifters to take you back, your on your own, good luck" and they just dump the dregs on the local population. If they're lucky, they get settlement rights to a planet they liberated. Thats why there's Cadian styled regiments all over the place alongside them just being considered the base standard; Cadian veterans seeding entire worlds.

The Blood Ravens must have had some "Gifted", pure Primarch Geneseed, because Gabriel just became 3 meters tall ( Primarch size) and f*cking flips in an amazing Terminator Armour! The next step is giving him red, coppery skin, ginger hair and a lot, A LOT of Psychic powers. He already is huge and without an eye.

At the end of Dawn of war 2 Gabriel had most of his limbs taken off and had become entombed in specially made terminator armor.

Perhaps one of the most decorated heroes of the Imperium and one that many outside of the fandom will be familiar with, and perhaps he is the first space marine that people will remember for the Dawn of War series.

It was a shame that by the time I knew he had a mini, in the next day he was retired from the store but with some guides on youtube and kitbashing I managed to make my own Gabriel Angelos. Playing the Dawn of War games made me very curious about their chapter and it's definitely one of my favourites ones.
Another excellent video of course. However I was a little taken back by the "texture heresy" .
Also you don't get a title like bane of the black Legion without being a complete and total badass! And on another side note, notice every single one of these big conflicts there was an artifact to be stolen at hand I mean to be protected LOL

Assuming Gabriels father had him at a young age and Gabriel was on a fast track to promotion to Captain. How in the world would his father still be alive. If his father was 17. Hed have to be around 80 by the time the rebelions began.

I actually really like that unlike most he does not have dumb as fuck xenophobia. Don't get me wrong he does not like them, but most would never work with Eldar even if it meant loss where he will work with them if it in the interests of the imperium to do so.

@@Lazrael32 Gabriel Angelos was Captain of the 3rd Company at the time. As for Esmond Angelos, I can only find sources that say he was "a retired Imperial Guard soldier" and was also a leader of a movement for political change. Nothing about him being a Captain? Neither of which are positions he would be rejuvenated for. Even a retired Captain wouldn't get rejuvenated. A Captain in the IG is just thought of as a company commander. They are the most common regimental senior officer so arent even close to being worthy of rejuvenation.
Oh God you included the story from Dawn Of War Tempest...The most tainted of books from the secret black library...The Elder was right, it is tainted knowledge.
One of the very first books i read was, The Dawn Of War Omnibus, one of my favourite chapters are the Blood Raven
