@F0rGnarnia To add to @IsItTheBagel , You can also put lines together as long as certain words are in the script and it doesn't completely change author's intent. The 100 extra words can be added in as "transitionary." Most of the great Final Round Speech pieces take this rule and run with it.

It still amazes me that this and The Witches lost to Charlie the Caterpillar... both of them were such amazing pieces and I think would have clearly beaten Wozencraft even if that piece was original

My coach insists that we cannot write our own peice as long as it is based off of something that was already published. Although this is only my first year and I don't know ALL the rules, I dissagree. Which one of us is right? Please let me know soon so that I can make preperations for next year asap. Thanks debate nerds!!! :)

does anyone know the correct spelling for the author. i really love this piece but i can't find it. i know he says the author, but it sounds like he's saying wing rolley? please, if you could post, that would be great! :)
