Maybe it's me, talking of mixing english and Philippino sounds very strange. I'm sure you can speak 1 language in full conversation

talking in full tagalog is almost impossible esp in this generation lol. there are tons of words in english that can't be translated in tagalog (sometimes people would put an accent just to make it sound tagalog but the word is still in english). besides english is also the second official language in the philippines. i know it sucks but colonization has the greatest impact and influence to the country. it is what it is now.

It's not strange. It's normal. Sometimes we add English to our conversation because it smoothens our delivery when we speak lalo na if like we forgot the words we are suppose to say in Filipino. And hindi lang Philippines ang nagmimix ng language. Hindi lang tayo ang na colonize at nainfluence.
