Hinata should've learned genjutsu from Kurenai. She is the only sensei that did not pass down her jutsu knowlage to at least 1 of her students. It's kinda weird. It also fits Hinata's caracther - stoping her opponents without having to kill them and healing her clan.

Maybe she didnt train with needles. I never saw her throwing any. Needles were used by ninja with medical knowledge and very precise aim. Its not her thing.

@Paciat Om pretty sure a Weapon Master such as Ten Ten could throw Needles plus it was stated by Guy that Ten Ten never missed. That's beside the point. The sword is called Sewing Needle because it has a wire attached to it that could be used to string bodies together. It's the size of any of the other Mist Swords not the size of a needle.

It was it was stated by Guy that Ten Ten never missed, when all of her +100 attacks missed Tamari. He only meant that if she spams kunai with an area attack one of them will eventually hit, not that every weapon will hit. And how is stringing bodies together better than killing them? Just cut the string.

@@brendonohagan1946 Shino never gets his due on screen. But if he had been on the Sasuke retrieval mission instead of the A or S rank mission with his father, Sasuke would have been retrieved. There isn't a single one of those Sound Ninja that he wouldn't have either soloed or put into an unwinnable spot. Each one that stops to slow the group down turns into a speed bump if Shino is there with the rest of the team. Oh, Jiroubou can drain chakra? Guess who else can? Shino. Kidomaru discovers the weakness of the Byakugan. Guess who can protect that? Shino. Kiba and Akamaru get overwhelmed, here come three of the strongest Genin as they catch up, and then overwhelming force on Tayuya while Shikamaru uses Shadow Imitation technique. And then the Sand ninja join up with them? And a mostly healed Rock Lee? Kishimoto would have either needed to downgrade Shino from already canon abilities, come up with some kind of counter, or decided that the sand village not join in to even make things for the sound ninja look good. Love him though I do, Shino has to be capped for reasons for him to not be the absolute best. Hell, it was a huge mistake based on the lore that Shikamaru is the Hokage now and not Shino...THAT is where it really hurts as a fan.

This ks a great premise for a video. Keep up the great work.

So... is anyone gonna tell this guy that the whole "flower bouquet" thing IS actually a ninja thing? Just a quick google search would tell you that Kunoichi were all about flowers. It's called Ikebana. Even Samurai were taught this. It's a common and popular practice in Japanese culture.

It would have been nice to see Nick daydream hypothetical future kits/upgrades for all the spies that were part of the Chunin exams. I doubt it would change the outcome, considering they’d all likely be derived by their initial gimmick (wind hole arms, bendy limbs and chakra drain, ect) but it would have been a fun thought experiment.

my only thought for shikamaru v temari would be if shika used the chakra blade to hit temari's fan in the air with the shadow paralysis, because if she's on her fan she can't use it to deflect projectiles, but she would likely have some kind of defense against it still, OR if shikamaru could lure her into some kind of trap, which if it was a chunin exam type battle would be incredibly difficult with her abilities and knowledge

You can safely assume that adult rock lee is at least able to open the 8 gates and match Might Guy. Gaara at his peak is not beating that

Just like the ninetails isn't as strong as the ten tails but they created a form that went far past ten tails jinchuriki strength with it. Same can be done with any of the jinchurikis is kishi wanted. But yes I forget gaara doesn't even have shukaku anymore.

I think this vid would do better with a different title/picture. I was way surprised by all these matchups, and made for a much better video to listen to. :) Great work!

I'd like to see the Lee v Gaara rematch, because of one thing: the training mentality Lee has. So far in Boruto, Lee seems to have only probably heard of most of the otsutsuki shenanigans on top of the fact he probably feels he has to do Might Guy's training too, because Lee and Guy things. I'd be really interested to see if he has dunder headed his way to a level of strength to allow him to at least be comparable to low level otsutsukis
