What a superb performance by Lakshmi. Nobody else could perform this role better than her. And also her awesome beauty. Dorai-Bhagwan always wanted Ananthnag-Lakshmi combination for their movies. But Ananthnag got delayed by a week for the start of this movie. He was stuck in Bombay. But the entire crew was already in Mysore and the shooting could not be postponed. Hence last minute Jai Jagdeesh was selected. (for all other movies - Chandanada Gombe, Benkiya Bale, Bidugadeya Bedi and Sedina Hakki, Dorai-bhagwan went with Ananthnag-Lakshmi)
