Using the grizzly g0759 mill with DRO to put five holes in a small pulley. I think the drill bit was a #30 so about 1/8" these hole will look better a bit larger and can be done free hand on on the drill press.
Жүктеу.....

It amazes me that you were wondering how to turn this stuff on a short period ago, and now the constant practice has you making some great stuff... We will have to get lunch soon again !

i think you could change the direction by pushing + or - buttons for rotation.

If you did 0 and 90 it would divide the 90 degrees by and place all 5 holes within that range. If you want a full bolt circle you have to put 0 to 360 :)

I'm here because possibly looking at this mill. I have a new Siege 2xd, and ofc it has 2 defects that I cannot fix. This Griz is 4x more $$, but what a rig! Are all the controls (X-Y-Z) really smooth? tyvm

This is my first and only mill so I don't feel like I can answer that with any amount of expertise. I have had a few small issues with it but I still like it and use it. The bearings are not the best but they work, and I have replaced the plastic gears twice now. The last time recently and was probably my fault, i think the mexh was a but loose and caused it to strip the teeth of the first gear that rides on the brass gear of the motor. I would love to try a big mill but don't have the space and don't really have the need. Jim

Hey Jim! I was wondering if you could a tutorial video how to make a dragline boom like one you have in the yellow dragline, if it's even possible to make same kind by yourself. I need a boom to my rc drag too but i haven't found any from here in Finland, and i have no extra cash to buy from outside of Finland. :/ thanks

Interesting idea. Do you want the boom to look like the original boom? Did you find the video where I cut out the middle extension from aluminum using a wood chisel? Jim

Here is the link to the extension video, kzread.info/dash/bejne/c2ie1tBmnLLFobg.html I might make another boom if we can figure out what style of boom you would prefer. Jim

Thanks for the tip. The dro can do so much and I have to admit I don’t understand it very well. My biggest problem is that I don’t use it often enough and what I do learn I usually forget. Jim
