I searched some tweets about VEVO censorship and VEVO themselves stated that it's not VEVO's choice, but the artists or the record companies' choices. Censorships indeed suck, but that's why we got Spotify, other music streaming services and sometimes audio uploaded by fans by permission.

AzureZero20XX Nah it’s a lot of songs that are censored to hell and back and got tons of airplay. A$AP Rocky - Fuckin Problems got lots of play on 106 and radio even though the clean version had tons of gaps and made no sense. But 50 was starting to fall off (chart wise) in 07 and after he lost that sells battle with Kanye so his music and G-unit wasn’t connecting with the people. Plus his sound was starting to go out of style too.
