I've been waiting for someone to come up with something this small that includes the side buttons. I usually remap at least one or two things to them in every game I play. It's the only thing that has stopped me from getting something this small. Great video

That looks amazing :O The VGN dragonfly F1 series have very small pcbs so they are great for modding and very cheap. I got the F1 Moba a few weeks ago and am currently designing a fingertip shell for it, printed a test already. My shell is inspired by optimum tech's zeromouse but this video makes me want to try a more curved shape. (Also i just watched your subscriber count change quite a few times in about a minute, this channel gonna grow fast!)

try the vxe r1, its a new sub-brand mouse from VGN, basically the VGN f1 series if it had a pulsar x2 shape and slightly better internals (r1 pro has is a f1 pro with moba switches and r1 pro max has even better switches than the f1 moba) with a slightly lower price and weight. also coming out with an "ultra" with huawei 8k wireless polling soon. i was going to order an f1 pro but im getting an r1 pro instead, since im a claw gripper.

@@ProfessionaINoob The R1 series does look like a better shape, but the reason I went for the F1 is because there are already shells for it on thingiverse. This hugely reduces the number of test prints need to get the standoffs in the right places. When you say the R1 pro max has better switches, are they optical? Edit - when I bought the F1 Moba, there weren't many reviews on the R1 so I wasn't sure which one to get. Also, I have now finished the shell I was designing, so I just need to print it :)

@@_notme_- oh i dont think they are optical, but the kalih 8.0 switches they use are known to not be horrible but not great either. Most people buy the F1 MOBA for the pink huano switches (dot or transparent i forgot) and pay extra for it, but the R1 series has it on the regular pro version which is nice. They are also more snappy & less mushy which might decrease your percieved latency. Either way, does optical really matter? On keyboards optical isnt THAT big of a deal imo, I modded my own custom mechanical keyboard and find the latency just fine, even though there is the SLIGHTEST percievable delay which doesnt really bother me as it is only noticable when typing at high WPM and then stopping where I notice my fingers stop marginally before the words on my screen (im nitpicking tho, maybe it is a bigger deal that i currently think??)

@@ProfessionaINoob If the switches on the R1 pro max are not optical, it it not an opinion if they are better than the F1 Moba switches? (Transparent btw) Unless they are Japanese Omrons I would probably prefer the transparent blue shell pink dots (or for the moba they have pink shells). Also about optical keyboard switches, many now have the firmware for rapid trigger, which is quite impactful

In some shots it actually looks like it's an official Logitech mouse that you could buy on any store, great job! Well done!

Lychee slicer and resione k black resin (3.3 second exposure time). Experimented with anycubic resins before but warping is a big issue with them so I wouldn’t recommend it.

how much did you scale the file up by? trying to export it to my slicer but it's extremely large

i use a hsk pro and i hope more companies make fingertip mice like this in 2024. dope mod my man!

in theory yes, but since it's clear you'll need to sand inner walls too.

i dont even have green anything on my setup or like the color honestly.. but that translucent green looks SICK ASF!! i have seen the purple hsk which is insane too but something about this green..😭im surprised it's the first green mouse i've seen and you didn't like it.. surely a big company has made a green mouse before ?

Hey so I made this design. I feel there might be a way to design a puck for this that would work so that it could still have power play. after all that desk mat is a HUGE reason I use logitech. I do LOVE the design even with the struggles I had printing this out of resin.

I wanted to position clicks lower but gpx has a second pcb for switches which is positioned higher and left click kept hitting the encoder, so I had to cut a small hole.

have you done a mod for the g305 or Steel Series Aerox 3 wireless?

Would it be possible to have a mod variant that deletes the side buttons all together? As a finger tip gripper using the HSK Pro Ace I’ve found that the side buttons are one of my only issues with their design. I’m not saying “do it” or anything but I am wondering what that process would look like since I’ve never really put too much thought into the internal electronics of the mouse

I think it's impossible since gpx uses one cable to connect the side switches and main buttons to pcb.
