Agreed,that was intuitive(for a lack of a better word)of him..because sometimes I watch the reviews and wonder about swapping heads or the compatibility thereof..

I love the dog tags on the Diver and this one…such a great detail!

It's those little details that make this for me

I’m 85% sure that one of the nine retro carded figures for this year will be Roadblock and he’ll have his green color Ma Deuce and a backpack so he can hold the tripod. I also think it will have more saturated colors and fists. Both Tiger Force and the other Rockblock figures were exclusives. Retro card is mainline. This is an intriguing figure. I’m not sure why they didn’t do the M-16 instead of the double barrel gun Big Ben came with. That gun may be real but it seems an exaggerated piece to give to a soldier. Maybe the two guns are on the same part of the mold. It is interesting to count the amount of reuse: Stalker, Rock n Roll, Big Ben, and the vest Doc uses. 5 Classified figures to make one with new stuff. I guess six as Tiger Force Roadblock has the big gun too. Oh yeah Outback’s pack… 7 characters in one. Interesting. I actually like the creative reuse. The new pieces also spice it up. I’m not intending to army build this figure but I will get one.

Solid guesses with the Retro line. I bet your right. The fans have been vocal and it allows the Joe Team to satisfy the ARAH die hards and still make some updated Classified versions.

Yup, great call. I used to do 6-8 but with all the characters coming I'm dropping army builds to 2-4

My mutt and junkyard the pieces were vacuum sealed so tight I had to cut some of them out with a razor knife

How awesome would that be? I was really hoping they would have fun with the anniversary and release a flocked beard. I didn't think to do a breakdance pose with a modern soldier. Next time!

Great review! I'm not interested in generic troops for my G.I.Joe team, but I did pre-order this guy to get his accessories for other figures. I think ultimately I'll display him on his back as if wounded, being treated by Doc on my shelf. Oh, and the SAW originally came with Night Force Big Ben.

Wished they would start making them vests easily removable. And you are right. That action force swiffer is atrocious. I noticed you chucked that alternate head in the bin, never to be seen again. ;) Great review as always.

Great review. Im pretty sure that’s Grunt’s lid. And why the hell is the scarf hard plastic?? They did the same thing with the diver; stuff that should be rubber was rigid and vice versa.

There's nothing like a correctly titled video LOL. Dusty also has Stalker's legs. The light and medium weapon are from Big Ben. Great review of the reuse. I was vacillating, but he's too cool not to get. I'm NOT going to army build.

It has multiple meanings and also none at all. Government Issue, General Issue, Garrison Issue and General Infantry, but can also just be G.l. As a general term for infantry in the armed forces.

I find it weird he doesn't have a knife. All that gear and no knife. Almost every Joe here lately has come with a knife of some kind but not him.
