Cobra has a lot of Politics like power struggles because of narcissists and egotism inside their organization that keeps them divided. That's why whatever advance tech they have, they're still no match for the joes, who despite using standard army issue tech at that time were united in their goal manages to defeat cobra in every battle. The transformers too have this story in the deception camp. Everyone to each his own to make ends meet.

In regards to Cobra's failure to take over the world, my thoughts are that there were too many egos in Cobra Command that didn't end up meshing very well. Plus they had the mentality of all for me and this is mine, not actually showing the teamwork Joe command did.

That first shot of the ship silhouetted by the moon, then the troops coming out looks like it could have been JJ Abram's inspiration for the beginning of force awakens.

3:30 - Anyone who watched the G.I. Joe animated series from the early 1990s knows that Headman was NOT a Cobra. He was actually a drug kingpin who inspired G.I. Joe and Cobra to briefly join forces to defeat him. Quite impressive, if you ask me!

In my opinion, Cobra had the better-looking vehicles. And better action figures.

One of the things that I didn't like about the 80's cartoon is that Storm Shadow's nemesis was Spirit in early episodes and Quick Kick later because Snake Eyes was mute.

I made that Fred VII because he's in that outfit but also because that video is from the commercial for Marvel's G.I. JOE #80. If it was a clip from the DIC cartoon I wouldn't have used it.

Ok ur not being specific.....I know he shows up in the mini series but I'm asking what episode is it where you see him following a swamp fire at the 7:00 minute mark of this video..... Just because he showed up in that miniseries doesn't mean it's during the miniseries where that scene is it could have been any one of the scenes during or after that

What G.I.JOE show was Dr. Venom animated? And "Fred VII"? In the Hama Marvel Comics, yes. I do not remember him EVER in animation as the Fred series just didn't exist on any episode I ever saw.

Dr. Venom was in an episode of "Renegades." As for Fred VII, that animation comes from a commercial for a Marvel comic during the time Fred was disguised as the Commander in that comic.

I remember Larry Hama wasn't happy with the commercials promoting the Comicbooks as he then would have to put in the comicbook whatever they put in the commercials, although he drew the line at Cobra-La.
