My favorite feature of this was the pack and how it all broke down to be carried in it. I thought that was so cool. When I was in high school I went windsurfing and you better believe I was thinking of the MANTA while I was on it! Great video, Dave C.

That is awesome that you had it. I still have never been windsurfing, ln florida l would use the seadoos but thats kind of cheating 😅. I bet it is fun

Very cool. It's crazy that mail away items used to be such a big part of toy lines and now it's just not a thing anymore 😔

Yes, there are no special little things like this anymore. Instead its all calculated by profits. We had so many great things growing up.

Yes, that song is how l feel after the operation.. 😅 , but like you said, will get outside soon enough.

Glad everything went OK, and wishing you a speedy recovery. I just picked up the MANTA last month for the first time. It's a really cool for a simple as it is and thanks for pointing out the Manta Ray cut out.

Hi Dave C, hope you are doing well. I wanted a MANTA when I was a kid. I remember seeing it in the mail away pamphlet but for whatever reason I never got one. Which is weird because I had a swimming pool in my backyard and I tended to get a lot of water related Joe stuff. Thanks for posting.

@@gijoedavec-straightfromthepit Good bro, good. Yeah, I played with the Water Moccasin in my pool, the Sharc was a pool favorite of mine, and I ended up getting the Hydrofoil too. My parents weren't rich, but they really hooked me up with Joe stuff when I was a kid. I didn't get the Flagg though, lol.

Must be pretty heavy to lug around a wind surfer on your back. Hope you're well, Dave!
