S&S has an enrichment vs a choke. Enrichment just feeds fuel so I use it to start my bike if needed but then shut it off a d use the throttle because with throttle you’re getting air and fuel that way you won’t foul your plugs. Good luck and Semper Fi 🇺🇸

Been watching your vids for a while now. Love the content. Looking forward to seeing the FXR come around. Completely off topic.... what and where can I get that rolling garage stool with the drawers? It’s pretty cool and looks like it’s convenient to have with your tools right there in the stool. Thanks

Use the key to turn off bike, the switch on the bars just kills the ignition and leaves the lights on, and runs the battery dead. If you get a voltmeter and check the battery when the bike is running you can find out if the system is charging.

I don't know. Just in the future take a can of brake clean or chemtool not starting fluid...And spray the whole intake maniflod and carb keeping the spray away from carb opening. If it speeds up or slows down at idel then you have a leak. Thats prob all you had, Much cheaper than a rebuild kit.. And take those stupid hose clamps off the carb vent lines. Not needed, you can trim the line a bit or replace ..Got a super B over forty years old and doesn't Leak.

Hey man love these videos, I have a 92 fxr and had my battery randomly die on me luckily I was home. Ended up being my regulator, battery was toast so I replaced that too. When it was down I tried rolling the bike down a hill tried to pop start it, tried to jump start it and had no luck. So keep an eye out for that

A little tip : on early Evo bikes the electrical earth for the regulator/rectifier was made through the case via the mounting bolts. Over time these corrode and you lose the earth which fries you regulator. Check how many wires there are in the regulator/main harness connector if there are four then you have a proper earth - if only three then you need to make an earth lead and connect one end to the regulator shell and connect the other end to the frame. Under the seat with all the other earths is fine as the original earth does not last. I had this problem on a 1990 bike and the solution is so obvious that you may never think of it !

@@dynademos mine happened when the mechanic unplugged my regulator and I was driving for 30 minutes, the whole time the battery was being drained and not recharged so I heard a loud pop and the bike was dead. Wife had to come pick me up with a uhaul trailer lol. Watch out for that plug. It’s not as secure if a connection as you would think. That’s what I get for not doing the work myself though
