Wait im confused. I had a shooting last time with a fx9. I had g master power zoom lens. The fx9 had TWO mount ring. One e-mount and other PL like ring. I had to put the lens like normal e-mount and twist it but no click. Then i had to twist the pl like mount ring. What was that?????🤔

I'm using ziess cp.3 pl mount lenses with metabones speed Booster T cine Ultra 0.71x on fx9 . and get black circle in FF 6K scan pl help me , what is going wrong ? pl...pl....reply

most of the metabones adapters take a FF image circle form the lens and focus it down to a super 35 image circle. This would then create a vignette (or black circle) around the egdes of the image. This is also how they are able to get an extra stop or so of light, more light focused on a smaller area.

@@radfield6089 So it's best not to get a PL mount adapter and use the e-mount? Would you suggest the Ziess cp.3 e-mount lenses over the Sony GM lenses?

@@PDXFilmmongers its not the lens, just dont use a focal reducer with a full frame camera.
