Order an O-ring kit and watch Ernest's videos to install all new O-rings in your gun. Along the way you may find the leak but you'll have all new O-rings.

How do the 2 orings stay in place ? , the ones that went inside 1 white and 1 black on top

Hi Ernest, little help, please I have installed power plenum on my fx impact Mk2 22 calibre; however, the maximum power I can get is 80 or 90 bar; this is when the regulator screw is almost out. I noticed that when I adjust the screw pressure counter-clockwise, the pressure in the gauge doesn’t change all the time. Is it only the power plenum need to be changed so I can get a 130 or 140 bar or the regulator as well?

if ollowed the vid but i have a leak out the tp what part is faulty the valve rod not the small o ring thats sealed its leaking fromtransport i sprayed leak detector its pissing out thanks

Can u run dual plenum , , power plenum and external plenum ? Or will too much air come out and cause inaccuracies? Thanks

Hi Ernest, would it be helpful to mount barrel when aligning top plate (before tightening) to help center everything?

CARM magazines--> yes just forgot to include, if not centered re torque top plate while pressurized then pushing barrel in while moving rear block side to side to align barrel

Earnest does this mean the power plenums are going to be offered the the public for installation?

Hello Ernest. As an Engineer myself, I much appreciate your vids. I have a small business and assemble a lot of small 2-stroke gas engines after I modify them, and I like that little electric torque driver you use. Most of the screws I tighten down are 5mm x .8 screws, to about 50 inch pounds, (or smaller). Can you point me in the right direction for a tool like that if they fit my application and have accurate torque settings? Thank you sir in advance. Doug in Michigan.

Hi Ernest, i just got my power plenum today, i did everything like the vid, however when i install my bottle, air gushing out through my regulator adjuster ( behind my trigger). Any idea where the leak came from? Thank you in advance . And very helpful vids like always.

Hi Ernest, I have installed my plenum on my impact mk2 bronze, exactly as in your video, shot 300 pellets through, and then it just started dumping air out the barrel. I've now had it apart 4 times, replaced the valve body orings, re-measured all distances, everything as it should be, still dumping air out the barrel. It is as though the rod is not making a seal with the valve body. Fill up the bottle, put it on and it all just dumps out the top of the regulator block. I can see the rod end is flush with the valve body at the back and all is flush with the regulator body. What to do?

7had -> Bronze have FX PP already. polish the delrin on the rod they are easy to ding up the sealing edge. inspect the valve housing metal seat supposed to be smooth where the delrin seats. Is the rod started to stick out the mad slot??

@@ernestrowe5061 Thanks for the quick reply, problem solved. I'm not sure if it's a difference between EU and US, but my bronze impact is 2 months old and didn't have the plenum, I bought it separately and installed myself. I'm after lower speeds but more shots, so I had been slowly lowering the regulator pressure, at 75+-bar it dropped all the air out the barrel. I thought it was an O-ring, and probably just an installation mistake on my part mucking up a ring. Took it apart several times, checking orings, then finally changing all of them I thought it could be, no use, still dropped all air out the barrel. Finally I went back and decided just to do the opposite of what I was working on when it first happened. I attached my 12 liter scuba tank and readied to rather quickly increase the regulator pressure, I increased it to 90bar, and the air dump was more of a slight hiss. Shot some pellets and then increased again slowly, up around 100 bar the leak stopped. I'm thinking the plenum needs a certain pressure to maintain the valve rod seal. I'm now holding it at 105 bar, shooting a couple mags and then checking the bottle pressure to make sure it's not leaking the next day. So far so good, day 3 tomorrow, we'll see. Cheers

Does the valve rod end have to be set a 6-6.5mm? You just tightened it as tight as it could go.

The end behind the valve adjuster I'm talking about. Do you just make sure it's tight. I'm only asking because 2 other videos I've watched say it's important to have it between 6-6.5mm Thanks

Please help Ernest. I installed the PP in my impact and didn’t tighten the little screw at the rear of the PP. when I attached the air bottle I heard a loud “pop”. Now the regulator loses most of its air overnight and I don’t know how to start trying to find the problem. I assume I have stuffed an O ring somewhere.

Nuno Zavala--> as long the hammer seat is jammed tight with blue lock seal, about 6 to 6.5mm protruding, this to sure the double female adapter on the rod are tight also

enrique herrera --> the white oring isn’t seated properly, happened to me also, while moving the rob the oring wants to move with the rod the reg vent hole just 1mm away so the oring need to be in front of the vent hole for the initial pressure test. Unscrew reg tube used a long 1.5mm allen and push both oring forward and screw tube back on then pressured to insure its sealing if yes remove pressure then completely reassemble.

I thought so that should be this oring or the other one -black rubber- because all the other external orings in the rob seems be ok and if this joints would be broken the air would leak by the rear zone. When I bought my plenum all the joints comes fitted, so I only had to fit the plenum. I´ll remove all today and refit the white oring and then I´ll try to pressure the system. I have bought the same leak tester that you use -CRC- so I could test easily any leak. If you any time in the future comes to Spain - I don't recommend it now by COVID19- don't hesitate to contact me, I´ll invite you for a best meal in Madrid ;)

Ernest I can confirm the problem was the misalignment of the white oring. I have refited all parts again and now there is no leak at all. Now there is a problem. When I have unscrewed the bottle the system not remains pressurized, but all the air escapes through the bottle valve. Previously no air escapes when I removed the bottle.

enrique herrera --> when bottle is removed the reg plenum will dump the pressure at any given time it normal .
