Yes! Rumpelstiltskin! I used to live in Sacramento- that was my LYS for years.
Personally, I just go with the flow with my knitting… like if I feel like casting on I cast on and then eventually I finally feel like finishing off a bunch of stuff so it just kinda works out in the end :)
I just finished the lime skirt and I love it so much!! It was on my knit list but your video was the final push to get me to purchase the pattern and cast on. I met gauge and the fit was great except I wish I had more stitches around the waist band to cover the elastic more (and then decrease I suppose so I have the proper number of stitches for the main stitch pattern). I plan on making another skirt with this adjustment soon since its soooo cute!
MA has a lot of yarn stores

It’s winter where I live, about to enter spring. I have only ever knit two garments in my life, one was a cotton vest a few months ago and the other was a jumper when I was 12, a few decades ago. I want to knit Kutavokika’s Love Letter top and I did a swatch and I may have to go up a needle size to get gauge yet my row gauge is nowhere near what she says so I’m not sure how to get row gauge. I’m also knitting the Riverbed socks from 52 weeks which is going slow because my daughter wanted a crocheted Tangle themed bag which I have almost done. I don’t have a sewing machine so I am going to have to hand sew a lining for it. My other two projects are crocheted blankets which are also going very slowly, mainly because we have a new puppy and it is impossible to work with yarn if she is in the same room.
