You're supposed to do it in 3 directions - Vertical, horizontal then diagonally. I found a head gun after makes the finish great!

Make sure you turn can upside down to clear nozzle when done or the rest of the can is toast.

I have always been someone who likes to try and 'do things myself, so have used this paint multiple times with multiple results varying from 'not bad' to truly horrible!!!! And before you say it - Yes, I followed the instructions religiously! It can be very tough to get a nice even texture - particularly in variable temperature conditions found in most garages. Having had the pain of removing this stuff (more than once) to try re-applying until I got a reasonable result... This is one job I highly recommend to leave to professionals. Just send the item away and it comes back done.

Oh hey, its Fuzz! Been wondering what this finish was and decided to look it up because I had an idea for a possible future project involving it.

I thought you had to put it in an oven or heat it to get the wrinkle effect ?

hold a piece of cardboard behind it you silly man. And even on the can of VHT they recommend three coats five minutes apart vertical horizontal and diagonal. Dispute at will...
