I keep revisiting this mix from time to time as one of my favorite selection on future trance/underground electronic stuff. Initially I liked the first half better, but the more I've listened to it, I started to like the second half as well, like you get used to and start to identify favourite parts in a landscape as it changes during travelling - and overall this mix is an awesome experience. The transition between tracks could have been better here and there but this is by no means criticism, I love this mix and thank you for creating and sharing it!

i have to say this.......trance music is honestly music for the soul. i love so many forms of electronic, but NO genre makes me feel the way that trance does. when my mind, heart, and soul feel dead and dark, trance is the light that brings me back to life. its inspiring, hopeful, and it makes me feel connected, to others, to myself, to a universal energy, to life itself. sometimes we as humans stray so far from who we are and what makes us happy and full of meaning and purpose, and i have found that trance has the ability to remind individuals of their worth, of their interconnection, of what makes them truly feel alive. trance feels like home.

Julie D so true! I am huge EDM fan and love to go hard at festivals listening to things like hardstyle. but nothing can ever come close to the feeling of trance, it's on another level completely

I usually put this on my big flatscreen with surround system at home, at the highest volume followed by a deep bass, and then just sits with a glass of Rum and drink away myself in the Cyberpunk atmosphere... Thank you for that Dalziel

I'm 50 seconds in and I've already fallen in love with the track and visuals.

Somehow I have never commented on this track, in spite of it being my go to track. Absolutely an amazing mix, and would love to see a third entry in this series.

Does anyone know what Sweet September's genre is? That fast arpeggio thing (idk what the technical term is) is a unique vibe.

Trance does really suit the Cyberpunk Genre quite well, if done well.

Jeez, I used to have this on my old phone, 3 years ago, one day I lost the phone and I couldn´t remember the song name, now I´ve found it and the nostalgia hits very hard..

Haven't heard any good trance like this in awhile. Well done. Reminds me of some classic Oakenfold or something back in his hayday. House gets boring and Psytrance is a bit too much. A good Trance mix hits that happy little electronica sweet spot. I'm diggin' it.

Hardly 8-bit. Most of the video game stuff is from SNES-era, and most of the visuals that are animated otherwise are from anime like Akira. 80s anime had the perfect aesthetic for this, with Japan's obsession with cyberpunk and futureism.
