Future Funds | The Hollowmen
Комедия
THE HOLLOWMEN is a straight-faced and fast paced comedy-drama set in the offices of the Central Policy Unit, a special think tank set up by the Prime Minister to help him in his most important task -- getting re-elected. This is a frighteningly funny look at the way our political system operates and paints a hilariously sharp picture of those in power. Produced by Working Dog.

It's a definite maybe.
"Forget the details. Smell the paper." roflmao
"They did a wonderful job." "Especially when they didn't know what they were talking about." "I don't know how they do it."
The ending of this episode is great. David has to hide around a corner near his office because treasury find out about the future fund so a bunch of them are waiting for him to come out/back to the office so they can mob him.
"We've got the $100B, we are this close. We just need an idea".. "gimme half an hour"...
I need to see Rob and the Team in a new show. Hollowmen was sensational, Utopia, Hilarious. I need more.

How did I miss this show? Utopia was brilliant but Hollowmen was a ground-breaking initiative in visionary comedy.

Another season of Utopia is coming in Sept 23
"Insert name of initiative here" 😂
Oh this is priceless. These clips give my daughter a laugh who has just started to work for the Government on a major new project. “Feel the weight of the paper” 😂😂😂
This clip is 10 years old and it’s more relevant now than ever. It’s like a glimpse into the current Victorian state government
Sounds like you're spending money on the sick Isn't that a good thing? Not if you're not sick. Underrated line
'so you won't be needing my envelope?' Still to this day, one of my most favourite shows, Still listen to the audio tracks. Fantastic =D
“Almost makes you feel proud.”
Still brilliant after all these years.
If Veep ever gets a movie I hope it involves a scene with the cast of The Hollowmen and another with The Thick of It.
After working in a political office this is a documentary.

I remember budget day and everyone was running around frantically, I checked out the budget website and the front page had "budget theme goes here" on a live website the morning of the budget.
“Is that where the weight comes from?”
So brilliant! Frontline, The Hollowmen and now Utopia! Utopia is a little more blatant, but still absolutely hilarious! Glad to see Tony working for the NBA now :)

And you forgot the brilliant The Games.
did you guys upload and have it unlisted for 10 years? If so, that is solid commitment...
This is to grand a vision to be bogged down in details.
I hate how this 15 year old TV show is is still relevant

Production was funded from the Soverign Wealth Initiative.
Albo could pull this out now and have the herd confused for years until it goes belly up.
So good😂
Heh heh...! In the scene from around 2:20, there's both the actors who later played Kerry Packer. Rob Carlton and especially Lachy Hulme, are two of he better actors in Australia today.
A big solution looking for an actual problem.
Could make University free.
2:59 predicted the US trillion dollar "infrastructure" bill
They'll be processing us in S21 at this rate. Seriously though...
