Ғылым және технология

In this video, I show how you can add comments into your design to help capture design intent. You can use these comments to record changes, webpage links, tooling settings, etc.

Thanks again Brad! More useful stuff for me to remember. :) I would love to see a tutorial on how you constructed that cabinet in Fusion as I use Fusion mostly for woodworking.

👍👍 - thanks for all the hints. Up to now I've only been using the comments field to capture the youtube link associated with a training model i'm working on. But I never notice the other icons. I'll be using those.

I'm definitely not alone, but miss those Outlines (step by step tutorials) that you put together for Fusion projects du jour on youtube.

He’s boring. Bring back Lars. And where are all the monthly 5 second update video’s? It’s like Autodesk have lost interest.

Great video Brad! Love all the info so far. Are the comments able to be attached to drawings? I could see that being very useful as that’s ultimately what I print and take to the shop.

@thehangerdesigns - Yes, you can add comments to drawings, but it doesn't have the "pick an object" or "pick a point" options. Thanks for watching.

I'll assume that this comment tool works in each workspace, like CAM and Drawing...etc.

@ericsandberg3167 - Yes, the comments option exists in the other workspaces like Manufacturing, Drawings, Render, etc.

It’s useless. Once it’s closed there is no prompt to check it. I’ve asked a few times to make it more prominent or obvious there are comments in there. Would be a great tool but I’ve put instructions and notes in there and the programmers are oblivious to them. Needs work
