Glad you are back!! I love the “what’s new” series! Wondering if there was any follow up on the break down assembly for cam...? I have been looking for some info on this and have not been able to find anything. Any help would be amazing! Thank you again for all that you do!!!

Thanks Lars. Great as always. My question is how to bring into 2D Drawings a long shaft with the end having detail that needs to be shown that I do not have to scale down the whole thing? I want to show a break in the shaft so the end detail is at scale without doing a detail view.

After spending the last year or so as a hobbyist learning Fusion 360, now AD have removed not only the ability to save, delete or even rename files but also the ability to construct drawings. Not a good move by Autodesk. Great videos by you Lars but now is farewell probably also by thousands of other hobbyists.

@@cadcamstuff thanks for responding that’s cool. What I meant was how you find the major and minor diameters and height of taper thread. How you would go about programming the turning op and then the thread op. That’s for everything you do. I don’t see any good videos on how you go about turning these types of thread.

None of this works unless you pay $60/month. Now I have to put together my details and such in Design, and then fiddle with that...drawing is pretty much useless for hobby user now. Too bad, it was the best way to check your design...AD really does not like hobbyists...

@@frankderks1150 you can’t create multiple sheets in a drawing unless you pay $60/month. Looking at printed paper is the best way to check your design. I can actually draft my parts by hand faster than it takes to use the crippled drawing 2d application. Wow, what a great idea for a untuned channel. Have a draw off between the crippled fission 360 and a good pencil and velum drafter.

A drawing is not much use if you can't print it. Printing is no longer available to hobbyists, Fusion 360 is making it no longer suitable for them.
