I have mixed feelings with the dub, I think a lot of the voices are really good and fit the characters in a vacuum, but in practice I feel like the dub kind of lightens the tone of the story overall and I definitely think that takes away from the viewing experience. Like for example Nanami's dub voice is awsome, it fits his character well and sounds great to boot, my problem is that it's so completely different from the sub voice that it almost feels like theres two different Nanami's and the japanese one feels a lot more gritty and intense than the straight cut dub voice. The actual quality of the voice acting is top notch for pretty much everyone though.

The dub va did a great job with Megumi's laugh,it feels so crazy and unhinged. And side note whenever Sukuna says something is going great with that look be warned he's plotting something

Honestly, no disrespect to the sub but I much prefer the dub. You can actually hear Megumi deranged cackle here, “Chimera Shadow Garden” sounds better here, and the “Oh what the hell” part was nice as hell. JJK dub started a bit..rough but it’s def improved.

I agree the "oh what the hell" and "I can do that" are f great but sub says chimera garden and technique better. So honestly I love both ❤ I prefer Yuma seiyuu morefor normal dialogue though. This dub scene is the only exception oh and Gojos VA Kaiji ❤

Ngl I prefer the dub because of the psychotic laugh and Megumi’s voice.

I love that it's heavily implied in Jujutsu that the only reason certain individuals aren't as strong as they should be, is because they don't think they're strong. We can see this here with Megumi, thinking he can never be as strong as Gojo and like Gojo said, Megumi we'll go for the safe play like he did in that baseball game. And we can also see this with Jogo, sure we know he's strong, and at first he knows this, but after his first encounter with Gojo, he's shooked. To the point he won't even dare to open his domain vs Sukuna in his first encounter with him. 80% of Jujutsu is about about being born with powerful techniques, but it's also a mindset too. It's another reason why Gojo and Sukuna is soo overwhelming.

When he says "oh what the hell" he oddly reminded me of dabi

While the voice acting is top notch, I'm not sure the translation makes too much sense. Maharogas incantation should be more like "With this sacred treasure I summon." "Sacred treasure, swing" may be a more accurate translation but it doesn't really make sense. I guess they're trying to keep the lip sync as close as possible

This doesn't show the full scenes. The video chops it up, presumably to avoid copyright infringement. Megumi actually says "Sacred Treasure, Sacred Swing," which at least sounds better than just "Sacred Treasure, Swing."
