東日本大震災から5年が経ちました。 この5年の間にも様々な自然災害が起こり、ふるさとを失われた方も多くいらっしゃったことを思うと胸が痛みます。
人は自然には勝てませんが、人と人が協力し合って復興していく力はそれに勝るものがあるのではないでしょうか。
少しずつ復興が進み、多くの方が明るく過ごせる日が1日でも早く来ることを祈って、今回この曲を弾かせて頂きました。それぞれのふるさとに想いを馳せてきいて頂けたら幸いです。
It has been 5 years since the East Japan Earthquake.
There has been many natural disasters in the last 5 years, many people have lost their homes and loved ones. When I think about them, my heart aches.
People cannot dely nature but we have always worked together to rebuild and overcome tragedies.
I pray that the day comes fasters where the people have restored their normal ways of life.
This peice I have performed is called "Furusato." I hope that you reminisce about your birthplace while you listen.

「ふるさとは遠きにありて思ふもの そして悲しくうたふもの」と言う詩がありますが、確かに、離れてみて初めて懐かしさが強まり行って見たくなるものです。 鮭がふるさとに帰って産卵し、又海へ戻るとか。これも同じ思いなのでしょうか。 自然をコントロールする存在「神」のようなものをどうしても考えざるを得なくなります。
弾き手の心がふるさとの子供時代の思い出と一緒に伝わってきます。

0:46 and 2:34 reminds me of "My Country 'Tis of Thee". It might not have been what you were going for when you said "I hope that you reminisce about your birthplace while you listen." but I guess it did what you'd hoped.

J'aime beaucoup vos vidéos, particulièrement celle où vous interprétez "Sakura" sous les cerisiers en fleurs ... Je me souviens avec émotion avoir entendu quelqu'un ( que je n'ai pas vu ... ), jouer du koto près du château d'Hiroshima lors de mon premier voyage au Japon en 2014 ; peut-être était-ce vous ?... Continuez, Kasumi-san, et bravo !...
I found this randomly while i was looking for koto on the net to buy, but i wanted to see first how the different it was between different sizes of them. I want to learn how to play koto. I saw 13 - 36 stringed kotos. I listened to many of your youtube clips. And liked them. Very beatyful played i must say. I can imagine it must be hard to handle a koto. I hope you keep doin more songs and covers. And that it may inspire and encourage more people to hear your music. I think the meaning of the songs is in very geniun purpose aswell.
