I didn't know that the word "bean" was considered a furry term. I use the word "bean" all the time to describe some of my friends (mainly my friends who are cute and innocent).

Okay Therain is a new one for me and I've been in the fandom sense the late 90s. Though I can see where it overlaps and can be used to differentiate from Otherkin.

Feral from what I learned is a different definition. Basically an animal the looks like a regular animal but can think and reason and talk like a human. IE Simba from the lion king. Also an alternative phrase for quadruped would be "four on the floor".

I'm not a furry but upon hearing 'the headless lounge' my first thought was just that there's a room somewhere where it's acceptable to take the fursuit head off cause it seems very hot. Either way, it was fun to hear all the terms and I really love the eyes on your suit, super cute!

watching this as a newcomer in the furry fandom in 2021 is interesting, cause i already know of "beans" "toebeans" and "peets" since they're commonly used in online spaces to talk about your pet's paws

Please please please make a video about older furries please 🍒? Could you also explain why a 30 year old is considered a gray muzzle? That’s not old. How old is the oldest furries you know? How badly are they looked at in the community? Is it ever too late to join the fandom and start fursuiting? You just made me super paranoid.

I can do this! Nothing to be paranoid about to be honest. I'm friends with several gray muzzles. I don't tell this to a lot of people but I'm "close" to being one myself. As for why it's considered a gray muzzle, I don't have an easy answer other than statistically speaking, most furs fall below that age and it's used more as a respectful identifier rather than an insult. It's NEVER too late to join the fandom OR fursuit. I met a fur at Megaplex that was in his 60's, rocking a fursona badge and he told us some hilarious stories from previous cons he attended in the past.

That is a heaps good video stormi. I know of another furry slang you forgot to mention. And that only can be referred only to the birthdays of furries who’s main fursona is not born in live birthed but in eggs like birds, dragons, reptiles, dinosaurs and others and that is hatching days or hatchdays.

I'm vary new to the fandom like this year new, I did find you'r video helpful. I was surprised at how meany of them i already know though.
