Here's one that I strongly advocate and yet rarely see. DO: Pay attention to the other suiters around you. Just because you are aware of the health risks and your own limits, that doesn't mean that everyone around you knows or cares. If you are a suiter yourself, there are many signs you should already know that could indicate that a suiter is pushing themselves too far. Make sure you talk to them and encourage them to take a break if it looks like they need one. Also, MAJOR TIP!!! If you see someone in a suit sitting perfectly still for more than a couple of minutes, make sure you tap them on the shoulder and ask them if they are ok. There have been instances where suiters have sat down at a convention and DIED of heatstroke, but nobody knew until after the convention was over because on the outside, they look like every other cute suit chilling about. This is extremely important and could save someone's life.

Seeing my fanart on the fanart wall made me really happy! I have always been down on myself on my art thinking. "why do I even bother?" I want to try my best to learn more and become better at my art. "Find something that you enjoy doing and you won't have to work a day in your life."

DO: enjoy being furry DON'T: try to convert your friend to be one or even just try to make them like us. Especially when you know they hate furries.

Here is another "Do" that I learned to do the hard way. If you get frustrated with a project, whether it be art, sewing, music, whatever. DO put it aside and do something else for a while. You can come to it later when you are calm and have a clear head and can figure out what you can do to improve the situation.

The “stay fresh and clean” one is a really important do. *your favorite furry artist don’t wanna hug you if you fishy and stanky*

\w/ as someone who had a chinchilla fursona for quite some time, just keep in mind that there are artists who WILL reject your commission if your species isn't more common. Or they'll just draw it like a dog/cat TwT

I also really liked the thing that Bex said about only saying hi, because conversating with others is one of my personal struggles since I'm autistic, so I needed that. Your channel has helped me feel better about Moarse.

Dear Pocari and all participants, that was amazing! I heard some topics that haven't been touched on in awhile, plus some humor as well! I'm going through a spot where i'm afraid to let myself create, because i'm scared that everything I make won't be up to my standards, because i'm usually very hard on myself. Don’t squeeze the life out of a fursuiter, especially if they are smaller than you. This happened to me at Anthrocon New England 2020 and my fursuit head is plastic and now it’s cracked. I’m not mad. Edit: Just the jaw is cracked. It’s taped right now. I was the smaller fursuiter. It’s working out fine for now until I can get it hot glued or something.

Do be polite, nobody benefits if you be a poopy head (I don’t want to swear so I replaced some more aggressive names with poopy head I’m very mature)

I really appreciate the point brought up that you don’t have to be ashamed of settling for a partial. I was actually really down on myself for a while because I have type one diabetes and exerting myself in any way can lower my blood sugar. I was worried I wouldn’t be accepted or considered a “true” member of the fandom because I’m not able to wear a full suit, but I’ve seen countless amazing partial suiters and it’s helped me realize that it doesn’t matter what type of suit you have. You don’t even need one at all to be a valid member of this fandom! I’ve never felt so accepted in any other fandom than I have in the furry fandom
