Saying Arsenal bottled the league after winning 16 of their 18 PL games in 2024, scoring 54 and conceding 9 is absolutely embarrassing. Jan 1st Tottenham were 1 point behind Arsenal in 5th, they finished 23 points behind yesterday. I get that TalkSports whole USP is shock jock but to say you’re pleased with your season and call Arsenal bottlers and praise Spurs fans singing about Arsenal is wild.

I absolutely agree with Chris. Forget stopping Arsenal winning the league we should be focusing on ourselves. Tuesday left me deeply embarrassed.

The highlight of Arsenal's season was coming a very close 2nd to the greatest PL side there's ever been. Spurs' highlight of the season was celebrating helping to stop Arsenal win the league whilst making them miss out on a shot at getting CL football next season. That's the difference in mentality.

I would disagree, a lad I work with goes to Sunderland home and away week in week out, he went to old Trafford and wanted Sunderland to lose along with all the other Sunderland supporters because the following weekend they had Newcastle and the thought of them sending Sunderland down made him feel sick

People are abusing the word “bottle” without understanding the meaning of it. We bottled last season when we lead the league for majority of the season and yet collapsed towards the end of the season. I agree. But I am not having it if anyone says we bottled it this season. P18, W16, D1 and L1 in 2024, while having the toughest run-in of all 3 contenders, can hardly be called bottle job. We came up short, that’s what it is.

If I was born in Manchester, down the road from the stadium, both parents support city, I support city, but at aged 11 moved down to London and lived close to white hart lane, attended a few games, met some greats like gazza, lineker and klinnsman, even married a spurs fan, they why cant I have a team that i call my second team? As an Arsenal fan I can say that last season and the one before we bottled it. This season we didn't, we just came up short - there is a difference. In 2024 we played 18 PL games, W16, D1 and L1. It's a shame we lost to Villa, but we would have had to have gone P18 W17 D1 L0 to beat Man City. That is how perfect you need to be to beat them.

I kept telling my brother than palace was going to smash villa and spurs could have gotten that champions league spot had they beaten city. I wish spurs fans actually showed some love to their team during that game.

Same - I was more confident of Crystal palace winning against villa than us winning against Sheffield.

You are utterly deluded if you think the fans could have helped beat Man City, probably as deluded as the fans who think this Spurs team can do anything in the UCL or do anything with UCL money except waste it as they always do

So we got spanked by fulham, newcastle, lose twice to wolves and chelsea etc etc but apparently we should have beat the league champions?! Get in the real world, we've been shite most of the season so 5th isnt a bad finish at all

I could never wear another teams kit no matter what the circumstances!

O'Hara said in October that it would be a "disaster" if Spurs didn't get top 4. He's now celebrating 5th as it's some kind of achievement (after intentionally losing to not get 4th out of pure spite). What a clown.
