Second, Spurs aren't winning this match anyway. The least they can do is try to win. And third, let's not underestimate the importance of the final match. Say Man City draws today. Arsenal still needs to win on the final day against Everton, and hope Man City doesn't increase their goal difference. But Spurs supporters have this delusion that they are some sort of "kingmakers".

Tottenham literally still have a chance at a Champions League spot, and the difference between qualifying and not qualifying for Champions League is so massive that entire futures of football clubs often are tipped by whether or not a team qualifies or not! So yes, *that* is what the benefit is! Again, no risk besides bragging rights if things don't go their way (and that's not even mentioning that Tottenham fans will have the ability to say "you're welcome" to Arsenal fans who try to trash talk them), and *massive* amounts of funds that could make or break the future of the club if they fail to finish in the top 4! The fact is Spurs fans know Arsenal are historically a far more successful club. This bitterness has risen to pure hatred. Spurs main rivals are really clubs like Brighton, West Ham, whereas Arsenals are Liverpool & the Manchester clubs. It must be horrible to be a Spurs fans knowing you're more interested in Arsenal not winning something than you are your own club winning something. That is why Spurs recycle managers and never compete for anything, they're just not a serious club or fanbase. Just a losers attitude.

Spurs had the chance to stop Arsenal winning the title, by winning against them on 28 april. Being Spurs, they failed to win, and now their fans want to stop Arsenal via the only thing they are good at - losing :)

True Arsenal have had enough help this season with playing first most of the time in the title run in, playing depleted teams and no major long term injuries to players like Odegaard, Rice, Saliba etc. Jeff is being pathetic.

Being older, white, and Male ticks few boxes. I found out the hard way in 1994 so, exactly,30 years ago after I got a job that I had done as a Temp for a full year. 3 weeks after permanently landing that role, which was the only position, a memo came around saying "Black people are underrepresented in Education" and I was out without even getting an interview. LUCKILY, it made me form the first of my 2 Medium Sized Businesses and by 1998,I had an annual turnover of £3 Million but that is not the point.

Does these lot know villa needs a point to secure top 4. Spurs needs to win both games and hope villa lose. Its not in their hands. Spurs can win both games and still not get top 4 which is the most likely outcome if they where to win both games. I honestly believe the only way they can get anything from the game is if they sit back and that will most likely only be enough for a draw. Something arsenal fans would love but doesn't help spurs at all. Difficult spot to be in but if i was a spurs fan with how likely top 4 is I'd rather take the L and not let Arsenal win. If top 4 was solely in their hands i would understand this conversation. But tbis is just Jeff being an arsenal simp. Arsenal would have rolled over backwords if it meant spurs not winning the league. So its odd that they're the ones suddenly complaining about it.

Spurs had an opportunity to stop Arsenal winning the league when they played against them. They weren’t good enough, move on.

The passion of the fans against local oppositional rivals is fanatical. Something these snobs on TV can not comprehend, the fans hate and love in equally measure. Irrational maybe, but perfectly logical.

This might be Spurs last chance for a long time to get back into the champions league. Chelsea and Man Utd will do better next season. The top3 will still be better than Spurs. Tottenham might end up 7th or 8th next season because the plain fact is that you won’t attract the calibre of players you want and need without Champions league football.

If you dont understand why a rivalry like that is important to a fanbase, no one can help you. You cleary do not understand football.

I could understand if the final result was decided and Tottenham was not still in contention for a Champions League finish, but it's *not* decided, Tottenham *are* still in contention for a Champions League finish, and their fans are actively rooting for their team *not* to fight to the finish when the entire future of the football club is on the line! Indeed, that's truly pathetic!

This is nothing new. I remember Liverpool fans putting up a banner in the Kop End saying "Cockneys for a Day" in support of Chelsea in the Title Race for Liverpool vs Chelsea in order to stop United from winning the Title.

I think Tottenham helping Arsenal to win league would soften the hatred many Arsenal fans have for Spurs. It could change the relationship to a love hate one
