You can also get 12/12 ricochets on a khaba I mean yes it is harder to deal damage to without the super structure but he shot in the middle of the deck so at this range he is guaranteed ricochets

@@georgeu6994 uhmmm yes and NO. Yes to the point if the enemy ship is in brawling position you won’t be able to pen the flight deck. No, In real life the flight deck armour of Midway is 89mm (not sure what is in the game tho) but judging from the distance and trajectory of Yamato’s shells they plunged down just before the connect and that’s more or less perpendicular so in theory they should pen regardless of the side angling position and do DMG. But WG lives in a different reality sadly

He actually torped them both, and Trenlass had a glitch/freeze when trying to accelerate when it looked like he will eat everything... Trenlass ate "only" 2 and that's somehow both survived - the Hipper didn't score the kill and was nuked by Trenlass soon after, yet finished first in his team thanks to that one sneaky ambush :))

Playing this game 5.5 years now, i`m somewhat aware of the "funny" stuff and characteristics around. But those 12 Yamato shells on the Midway where straightout shocking. Seem Flamu in the training room bounce Yamato shells of T1 ships, but this was plunging fire ffs! This game is making me grab for my "medicine" an awefull lot these last few years.

Nobody: Yamato shooting at carrier: we’re gonna need an bigger boot.

I wanted the torp beats music with it.

This video inspired me to play wows again after a 1 yr hiatus. MM immediately gave me 5 straight roflstomp losses. Never change wows.. never change.

Those bounces on the carrier at 23km is a symptom of an issue with the game mechanics, that I have noticed several times. Those shells are coming in at an angle that should penetrate, but the ricochet mechanic causes them all to bounce; even if they hit the deck flush.

An almost full health Venezia gets rammed by a Des Moines with almost no health? That makes a shitload of sense.

I just love how Flambass isn't afraid of laughing at himself and his fails. I think he is the only streamer that does that...

Well those 12 richochets off the deck of the CV from a Yama shows exactly what is wrong with this game.

lol that thing with bourg landing shells short on kleber is also happening to me as well. I am playing Thunderer and recently for some reason my shells are landing short on broadside targets. it is not often but it happens

weegee's next idea: magnetic torpedoes. but instead of being implemented like they are IRL, they're going to simply detonate if they get near a ship, with decreasing damage the farther away they are. so like if somebody misses you by 5 meters it still does half damage.

I still think there needs to be a "CLANG" option for torpedoes that hit at an extreme shallow angle.

I'm convinced dd players using wide spread torps simply don't know how to switch to narrow spread. A couple years ago I would have blamed it on lack of attention or something that didn't involve lacking the intuition to press 3 twice in your whole way to T10, but at this point I'm not even surprised
