I hadn't heard her voice, either, before seeing this video. A very puppy bark.

That’s a big ole ball. She found that plug cause she’s smart. That bark! It’s to funny. Very vocal today. Lmbo.😜🤣😘🥰❤️

She wasn't sure at first, but warmed up to it really well. That bark is so cute, it's more like a squeak.🐾❤️🐶😄🐾❤️🐶😄🐾❤️🐶😄

Love how she goes to you for assurance if she’s not sure or not feeling safe about something. I think she is finding out she has a voice, it sounds so cute. I can see her having hours of fun with that big ball providing it doesn’t get a hole in it. She sure is getting big but still looks like a puppy and still as gorgeous as ever. ❤️😽🦴

She seems to see her reflection. "Papa there's a DOGGO that looks just like me stuck in the ball!" 😄

Puddy's beautiful brindle colours are coming out now, she reminds me of my youngest daughter Michelle's Staffy Busta who died at age 12 - daft as a brush she had him from 8 weeks old. She was there when he was born and fell in love with him. 😘

I've got an Amstaff girl and an APBT boy, so the only balls that last in my house are of the bowling variety. Every other ball no matter the size has a life expectancy of around 5 minutes. :D

Steph you might try taping a dog rope toy onto the ball. Tape both ends of the rope toy onto the ball to form a curved handle. Make sure you tape one end of the rope over the ball's valve to keep Puddy from picking at the valve. Then she has a way to drag the ball around and play with it. That is so cool watching her and hearing her bark. I loved it when she got on top of it and walked around with it. 😆 funny I think she was looking for a handle like the red ball, I bet she’s thinking anything this big is supposed to have one, ‘“oh wait maybe this white plug is what I’m supposed to use to carry this around” it was funny watching her walk all the way around it too, she could see her reflection and she stopped to look 👀... 💕

I miss my Staffy so much. Enjoy every minute with them.

Oh, how precious and very intelligent your Puddy is. She was not to sure so she were to the head of the pack, Dad. As she was going to you to see if you were 😒 wary of this big thingy and both of you were not. So she brought a small thingy (ball) that she knew what it was. Her barks were interpreted correctly and now you both will know when she is unsure or something is way off. Our dogs usually did this type of barking when something/someone new was introduced to them and all of us took note without telling what they were conveying to us the pack. Thanks for sharing. Hi, it's me again! lol!! I just have to say one more thing. It's good to get her interested in certain things, and objects, sights and sounds, etc......It's so fun to watch their reactions introducing those things to puppies as they get older because of course it helps with their development. :)

She found the plug because white stands out on shades of grey, brown, yellow, and blue, which are the only colors dogs can see. That and the fact that dogs have excellent motion perception, makes that white spot, the way that it spirals around in random elipse, a very exciting thing for her to try to catch since she is a terra dog.

The valve she thinks will give her a treat!!😂😂🐶🐕😘😘
