Ever heard of the phrase "You've got to have eyes up your arse"?? Well I hate to say it, but yeah, you do with kids. It's a 24/7-thing. Think every parent-to-be should be shown this at Pre-Natal Classes and that phrase highlighted in every 'Good Parenting' manual 😀 😉! I rarely had our boy out of my sight for more than a minute. Same with his son. Also worked with very young children for 22yrs.....which makes me qualified to say kids can do the most amazingly destructive, dangerous (stupid!) stuff in the blink of an eye! Fortunately never had to deal with any of these nightmares. But I still giggle remembering very funny, cheeky 3y/o twin sisters who went very quiet at home (very unusual for them). Their poor mum went to the garden bin, looked up to see her 2 girls up against their bedroom window absolutely covered head-to-foot in Sudocrem doing 'snow angels'! 🤣 The room was a wreak. Not helped that they had afro hair and had plastered it all over each others' heads! Don't know if you've ever used that stuff, but it's a nightmare to remove from anything! Moral of this Story: ....just don't do it to yourselves!! Parenting: hardest job in the world!
